Dr. Moody could care less about you. He is talked about alot here in Asheville and is probably the cities most hated doctor.after reading reviews and talking to friends I've learned he's repeatedly messed up surgeries and sliced lungs/ nerves open. Left people paralyzed and had to pay patients repercussions for his tragic errors.
Expect to be sitting for at least 2 hours before you talk to your doctor. Expect the front desk and receptionists to treat you like trash..
I had xrays cat scans MRI etc.. With Dr. Moody to try and figure out my back pain and he didn't figure anything out and was obvious he didn't care at all. I ended my business with him shortly after but they wanted me to come back to refer me to a "pain management clinic" AKA methadone clinic. Ridiculous..
Not to mention I saw a chiropractor shortly after this disaster and WASTE OF $ who found an avulsion fracture in my neck!! How did he miss that?? Incompetent and uncaring doctors is a HUGE trend in this area, please guys be careful who you are seeing and wasting you're hard earned money on!!response / report this review -

The staff at Carolina Spine have absolutely no concern for your well being at all. If you're interested in having surgery then they'll deal with you just enough to get you on the operating table. After that you're dead to them. I've been to some pretty cold Dr.'s offices before but Carolina Spine takes the cake. They herd you thru like cattle and have absolutely no concern for your well being after surgery. Do yourself a big favor and avoid letting these hacks cut you open.

I've been there with my husband twice now and have yet to see a Dr., just the PA (Lori, who is actually pretty awesome). The main issue we had was with getting Renee Reed, the medical assistant, to answer or return a phone call when husband had fairly serious complications with his medication. My husband now has to wait in severe pain until Monday to even speak to someone about changing his medication (should he take the pill and have more panic attacks, or should he sit and suffer? We don't know Speaking to a human being would be great FFS. Also Connie H. who we were told handles disability paperwork, was EXTREMELY unhelpful, we stood at her little cubicle for nearly ten minutes waiting on her to show up and all we got out of her was 'I don't know' and 'I don't do that,' She even stuck a little post it note on our disability form that says "Connie H. does not do these' and couldn't tell us anything about anything. She was a joke. The laminectomy performed on my husband was apparently 'agressive', and now we're likely looking at having to have a spinal fusion. If you call them, don't expect to actually talk to anyone, and don't expect to actually see any Dr.'s and you won't be disappointed. We're not real thrilled with this place, and husband is sitting in a chair sweating from back pain scared to take a pain pill because we can't seem to get anyone on the phone there.
The PA, Lori is pretty awesome though. If and when our experience changes, we'll be glad to change our opinion and our review.

Dr. Fowler and all the staff and PAC's are wonderful. Professional, experienced and caring. My back surgery went extremely well and my recovery is ongoing. All of my questions were answered and the physical therapy is in the same building making it convenient. My experience has been 100% positive!

Dr. Gooch was great! He was funny showed that he cared. He was the only dr. to not put a band-aid on my sciatica He done surgery on it.. I am doing great now.Thank you Carolina Spine!

Dr. Wesley Fowler is the bomb! His staff is awesome! I love them all!!! From Courtney his scheduler, to Janice, and Sue his medical assistant, to Lauren and Lori his PA's. They are all awesome, caring ppl! Never in a hurry, always explain and explore all options and never left in pain! True miracle workers!
