We really enjoyed our stay here. Yes we saw a lot of the reviews where people were complaining how dated it was. But that one reason we picked it. We wanted that charm. The room was very clean. We loved the stay here. Would have been nice to have had a microwave in the room. Great view over looking Bryson City.

I had a cold shower, only to have wife set up with hot water to start but ended with cold shower. My daughter had same cold fate. We complained to attendant who said oh sorry you must not have hot water because your neighbor take shower too

Dated but comfortable rooms. AC didn't work so it got very stuffy in the room. Other wise a good visit.

This motel is nice and clean and definitely the cheapest you will find up here in. If you dont mind it being a little outdated then this is just fine for your stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Very quiet, clean, and great location for all your activities. Very friendly owner staff. Remember to bring your blow dryer and shampoo. Planning on staying again!

Older motel, but clean with friendly staff and manager. Pool was in use by families with kids which was nice and there were grills around to use for your own cookouts. Thought that was a nice feature for a family vacationing. Quiet area at top of ridge. Chairs and tables outside rooms to enjoy the outside and other guests. Laundry room available for use. Bathroom didn't have a vanity so no space for toiletries. A slight step up into the bathroom, so watch yourself or you will trip for sure. Not many outlets, room tight in the king room. Basic tv. Nice place to stay if passing through or are on a budget and don't need the 'extras'.

It was a nice motel didn't stay at the campground though. The motel room was very big even had dishes to use.

We came about this place on memorial day weekend at like 9pm after our cabin had been double booked, these people were very nice to let us stay with our dogs even though they didn't really have a pet policy! Next morning we checked out and headed back to Ga, while on the way home i realized i left my camera battery and charger plugged in back at the room, i immediately called the office and told them of my mistake and the gladly mailed it to me! great to know good people still exists!
