My FAVORITE hotel in this area. I stayed here to be close to UCSD hospital and I was not disappointed. The few times I’ve stayed here, it’s been consistent. Clean, prompt, free breakfast is a plus and very comfortable beds! Full kitchen, pull out sofa- what more could you ask for? I love this hotel. The only one I’ll stay in when I’m in San Diego!

I really like staying here when I'm in San Diego. The rooms are very nice, the staff is great and very professional. The continental breakfast has something for everybody and it all tastes very very good.

Good place to stay, hospitality is good, good variety of complimentary breakfast, spacious rooms. Usually people who visit nearby offices stay here, but gets crowded during breakfast in the weekends with other regular visitors or tourists. Small gym is there for fitness freaks. No bar/restaurant are available at the hotel. Morning breakfast is complimentary.

I was visiting a friend who was staying there for business. The social area was small but it was usable enough. We were able to get a table and sit and chat for a while and even play a board game. Since he was a guest there, he was asked if he wanted wine. When they brought the wine for him, they asked about his trip and what he was doing here in San Diego. Just making chit-chat but it was nice. Staff seemed like a nice bunch that night. Also the place seems very clean, and the parking area was well-lit.

Pleasant ambience amidst the busy Mira Mesa area. Rooms are pretty spacious and service was great. Love the flavors "make your own" waffle in the complimentary breakfast.

I honestly can say without hesitation that the two weeks I spent here were short of amazing. Staff was more than great, room was clean, neat, well managed, and had all the amenities you would need. The A/C worked and actually got cold in my room, (I like it cold). The morning breakfast was by far the best selection for a hotel that I have ever had, and I travel a lot, plus the menu was extensive, very well made and presented. Will stay here again, love this place.

The hotel is a great way to stay for an extended time. With full kitchens and daily housekeeping, our family was comfortable even if cozy. The one bedroom suite is a squeeze for our family, but doable.

I am a frequent business traveler and I don't give 5 stars very often. This hotel hits all the right notes. Great check in experience. Clean, quiet spacious rooms with many outlets. Great wifi. And the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Seriously, like fresh fruit with sliced Camembert! But the people who work here are the best part. They are friendly, smiling, genuinely willing to help. A shining example of a great Marriott property.

I stayed here during my vacation and it was very nice. It's in a business area but close to the freeway access. The rooms are clean and neat. Our first room had an AC problem so I call the front desk to alert them and was in a new room in 20 minutes. I appreciated that the staff was attentive to my needs. There are a few fast food places around but you have to drive to get them. Overall I recommend this place especially if you want a kitchen.

Lat month I choosen residence inn during by company tour. Stay at residence inn was so comfort for me. Its surrounding calm environment helps to get refreshment for our mind and body. Food and other facilities are all acceptable one.

Wonderful stay, friendly, helpful staff. We were in a two bedroom suite, loved it, beds comfy, room clean, kitchen stocked with necessary equipment. On the 3rd floor, view was OK, but only for one night, worked great cause we didn't use it. Fireplace was nice, we enjoyed that. Breakfast was fabulous, hot eggs sausage and pancakes, waffles, 3 kinds of syrup, pastries, oatmeal and fruit, cereal, cream cheese, jam, a toaster for fresh toast and bagles. It goes on. Overall great stay. And every staff member we saw was welcoming and friendly!

I stayed here this past weekend with my husband on our way to Gaslamp. The hotel is in a semi business area however there are some fast food establishments nearby. The hotel room was spacious and had a nice set up with a couch, refrigerator, microwave and table. This location even provided a complimentary breakfast which was a nice touch. My only concern was that first housekeeping did not provide all the necessary toiletries and second that they just barged into our room without knocking walking in on my husband. Other then that our stay here was very pleasant.

I stayed overnight in a two room, two bath suite and it was wonderful. Place was clean and accommodating. Included was free breakfast buffet for all guests. There is also a pool, basketball net, ping pong table, and volleyball/tennis court outdoors. I also believe it is dog friendly.
