Its ok the rooms are average and so is the room service nothing to brag about the breakfast bar and pools are close due to covid and they only room service once and if stay longer you have to change your own sheets and get your clean towels from office

This is usually my go-to place to stay whenever I'm in town to run a nearby half marathon. This motel is conveniently located near the 56 and 15 freeways. However you might miss it if you're not paying attention as it's tucked in a bit from off of Rancho Penasquitos Blvd. It's located behind both the Mobil gas station and Don Rios Mexican Restaurant. The check-in process is usually really quick. The rooms that I have been given have been clean and comes with all of the amenities that I would need for a one-night stay. The rooms come with a mini-fridge, microwave, and an adequate flat screen TV. As for food options, there are a couple restaurants within walking distance. If you're on a tight budget, there's a McDonald's located across the street.

Nice Park for pets and children. Elders go on a nice walk. Great place to sit and relax.

Run!!!!!! Omg worse experience. First, the room I was first given smelt like dirty wet dog. I was given a second room which smelled better but the bathroom sink leaked. I was told it would be fixed when I stepped out and when I returned it was still leaking and even more. It was not fixed until the third day. The rooms online must be the “model rooms.” It appears I was the only one without a dog. The staff was semi friendly but overall I would suggest pay the extra and stay elsewhere

Clean. Quiet where my room is. The even have a real bell. It is kept in really good condition. Had a great stay here.

Personnel friendly and helpful. Room was kept impeccably clean. Hot water was abundant. Room temp easy to manage and comfortable. Bed very comfy. All light bulbs worked. Nice Continental Breakfast offered. It's not Ritz Carlton, but neither is the price! Excellent for the price. Walking distance to restaurants and Circle K. Recommend!

The only hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't have a mini fridge. The air conditioner didn't work. Room was clean and quiet otherwise.

The location is very useful for my purpose, visiting new friends. A freeway is close by, as are numerous restrauants. The rooms are spacious and light. We had the breakfast in the lobby, and it was varied and good. I would stay here again.

Ray who checked us in was great. The room itself was not great, room is very basic and does not smell clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very basic which was expected.

Shower head kept changing directions while showering. It was an old and cheap shower head. My room was next to the stairs and it was noisy. I talked to the front desk about the shower and their breakfast. The answer was that, very soon they'll do remodeling. Altogether, La Quinta is good. I liked the Santa Barbara one.

In room cleanliness and accommodations were good. The included breakfast was fair, but nothing special. Not much in the immediate surroundings, but located to major roads and highways. Exterior areas and parking lot less well maintained. Busy and somewhat loud (can hear some through the walls). Better than a motel, but this value property is priced at an unjustified premium during the summer San Diego weekends .

This is the worst La Quinta that I have ever stayed in. The breakfast bar was small. No hot food. Out of three selections of juices, only one is avalable. The room that they give it to me missing two lower inside windows (two set of windows), so the noise from the freeway was loud!

Clean rooms. Thermostat was broken but thankfully the weather never got too hot or cold. Overall it was a decent experience. Cant complain when the pricing was so great.

Room was clean. The heating and cooling unit was new. The floor of the shower looked a bit dirty. The breakfast is convenient however very few options just your basic waffle and fruit. Staff was nice.

Very clean, comfortable, affordable room. Free breakfast was the best when you're on a budget. Wish it was warm enough to jump in that beautiful pool (even though it's heated).

Stayed for one week, enjoyed it. Apart from no fridge or microwave, it was pleasant. Room was clean, housekeepers were great and the front attendant was really nice. The area is great, starbucks and IHOP and gas stations in walking distance. Close to the freeway, but barely any noise. The parking lot is monitored and they give you parking permits so your vehicle is safe. Would definitely stay again!
