Check in was great and our room with 2 queen beds was very clean and tidy for us. The host was great because we had accidentally booked for a different date but she changed it for us free of charge. The resort fee includes access to the gym which we didn't check out. The area around the hotel is very business parkish.

Nothing with walking distance. Requires driving or can to get anywhere. Hotel and staff were great. View was awesome. Rooms are very dated. Food options limited. Hotel shop pretty useless and always closed throughout the day when most folks are looking for needed supplies. In fairness to the hotel they are not part of the hotel and thru their lack of service pretty much made sure you knew it. I'd only give them a half star.

This Hilton is beautiful! I was only there for a short time before donating at the hospital right next door, but I immediately knew I wanted to walk around the night I checked in. The room was great and I was meet with wonderful service checking in, and even when I needed to get back food I forgot in the fridge! Great place

ROOMS are spacious, no microwave. Nice view on balcony. Big tub water is hot with plenty of pressure. Food is great but pricey. Overall great experience

I had a great stay here! The staff was friendly and service was great. The only comment that I had was the spa service. The massage was great but the location of the spa service needs improvement. If they had a vestibule or a waiting area would have helped this situation. I heard almost anyone in the main hall way on the first floor which made it a bit distracting.

Don't eat at the restaurant and then everything will be good. Restaurant suffers from extremely slow service, overpricing and sub par food that is not cooked properly. So bad we gave up on the kids eat free promotion. Service by the hotel staff is great and rooms are clean and good size. Beds are comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub with nice views of the golf course and ocean all around the hotel.

The room was nice enough, it just looked like it could use some updating. The service we received from the moment of check-in more than made up for any lack in the room. Valet was very friendly, bellman was engaging and knowledgeable. The service at the buffet breakfast, and the breakfast itself, was top notch. Would definitely stay here again!

The location makes it a bit hard to get their but is not so complicated. The place is amazing my girlfriend lived it. We got free breakfast and a beautiful view. I reserved online and it was a good deal.

Our stay at the Hilton was excellent. The service provided was exceptional. The staff were all very courteous, professional, and efficient. The rooms were great as usual. The location was not too far from most places we wanted to visit. I would gladly stay here again.

I planned my wedding reception at the fairway ballroom with the event manager Marina Dimas last fall.
The preparation went smooth with Marina, however the celebration itself did not turn into a fairy tale wedding.
The sub-event manager was running after us to remind us on the tied schedule. The drinks were so heavily filled with alcohol during the paid cocktail hour per drink that it was not tasty at all. During dinner the wine was not poured on time, some people including myself did not receive any deserts nor cake as it was seating on the side, and to top everything they asked me when I was having a good time, if I like to take my cake home and until today i don't remember saying "no please toss it away."
In addition we booked the ballroom until 130 am, but guests were telling me that they started cleaning up around 1230 am.
Please make sure that your original event manager, who you plan your wedding with, will attend your wedding and make sure that you get to enjoy your expensive cake and wedding celebration itself.response / report this review -

Thank you for an awesome experience during my stay at the Hilton Torrey Pines. I would especially like to thank Ashley and Melody for providing exceptional service during dinner and drinks by the fire pit. Our meal prepared by Jordan was amazing and delicious!!!! It was Birthday to be remembered!! Thank you.

Such a beautiful view of the golf course and ocean. The rooms are extremely clean with lots of space. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The spa next to Torrey Pines is wonderful and relaxing. This is our 2nd time back at Torrey Pines..

Neat and Beautiful, has one of the most breathtaking views for a hotel inland. Hotel sits on a golf course and has great manicured lawn. Loved the stay. Only negative I had was the rooms were outdated. I have stayed at much less expensive places with much higher and newer room features. Not a real technically advanced place.

Fantastic location. Iconic San Diego views. Even if you live in San Diego stop by here for a weekend trip. Won't be disappointed. I stayed over for a seminar and was pleased with that as well. It was catered with breakfast, bagels, coffee, etc. I'll be back!
