Amazing views and beautiful older building. It has so much charm and beauty. We had our wedding here and would do it again. Amazing staff and gorgeous rooms, have only ever stayed in the grand suites. Great rate for a two bedroom suite. Older building so don't look for high end ammonites but enjoy the giant staircases and hand formed balconies. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.

No Stars. Had to evacuate our house so forced to stay there. Worst service I have ever had. Made promises to us to get us our deposit returned quickly and they are saying that we must wait and no one can promise that. Mold was found in the bathroom above our heads. Our entire room smelled like dirty laundry or rotten feet. Asked the maids to switch the sheets and they said that they were unable to because they had to get other rooms ready and they would return. 4 hours later we called for new sheets and they said they would have them up but after 1 more hour and another call we gave up and never received any linen for the rest of the night. Worst hotel stay I have had. Ever. Picture of the fire burning less than 50 yards from my house as I left for your time.

This hotel is in an incredible location, with a Marina on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. The rooms are an amazing value. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony and view of the water. We we're surprised to have two bathrooms as well. The furniture was older and there was an eclectic feel to the whole place. The hotel grounds were maintained beautifully.

Nice place! Well worth the cashright next to the water spectacular views of the ocean..and plenty shops, restaurants nearby. Avg room is $125-$150to some this might seem a little spendy but if you are not going to a budget hotel you will pay thus & more wherever you go..so this being on the ocean and great atmosphere it's a steal @ those prices..but BOOK IN ADVANCE.. chances of getting place on walk in is not a good idea. VIEWS ARE OUTSTANDINGLOCATION,LOCATION,LOCATION!

Monica was an amazing person at the front desk to work with. The staff is really friendly and courteous. The rooms were amazing for the price you pay. I had basically my own two bedroom apartment that walked out to the ocean! The room was very well decorated and comfy. I will return with my family!

This place would be great if they actually gave you the rooms they advertised, and that you paid for. BEWARE - THEY DO NOT ASSIGN ROOMS UNTIL CHECK-IN. This means your "balcony" and "oceanview" rooms ARE NOT GUARANTEED. We've been here ywice, booked in advance twice, and gotten totally screwed both times. A dumpy room on the bottom floor with no breeze, and no view. Oh, and they charge you by the night for parking. Never again!

The room was nice with comfortable bed, spacious living area, television, kitchen, etc. The bathroom was quite large with a huge shower. The view of the water was very nice, and I enjoyed the sounds of the marina. There's not a lot to do in the actual hotel complex, so you'd better be there specifically for a nice comfortable room.

Hotel is on a private penisula with ocean views in some rooms. Lobby and landscaping are very well maintained and decorated. Pool and hot tub are very nice. Balcony is large and my favorite place to be. We are in a 2 bedroom suite and as soon as we walked in the smell of mildew hit us. The inside is spacious but completely outdated. The bathroom tiles are loose and the bathroom itself is dirty. We keep the balcony door and windows open at all times and the smell isn't so bad anymore. The beds are hard. If the place remodels this could easily be a 4 star hotel. I would return or recommend only if the place gets redone.

It was very nice stay, the place were well kept and modern inside. No A/C but it was in breezy location. Few minutes away from Oceanside Pier. Good place to stay for family with kids.

The hotel needed some maintenance love. I saw a man replacing a light bulb for it to still not turn on. The shower rod was broken. The fireplace didn't work. We didn't have extra blankets and were cold at night because we didn't know where the thermostat was. Service was decent. They brought new towels and toliet paper and took out the trash but didn't replace the trash with a bag. Location was beautiful. Really gorgeous place location wise.

Staff is great and extremely helpful. They go out of their way to get to know you and it made my stay very enjoyable. Large selection at breakfast and very nice business center. Would definitely stay here again!

I'll be honest, i picked this hotel cuz it was cheap. It isn't fancy and new but I thought it was fine for the price. We had a room with an amazing view and a hot tub on the balcony. The bed was comfortable the room was clean. The shower was amazing. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. I will be back for sure. Great place to get away and reboot.

The stay was great here. The view from the bedroom was awesome and the pool area was great to have. The only reason i rate it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rooms need some tlc. The sliding door was tough to open and the fireplace doors didn't really close. Nothing that prohibited us from enjoying the stay but some things they should really get working on soon, which it appeared they were starting to do on some of the nicest rooms first.

Very nice hotel. They are in the middle of remodeling the place. It doesn't have ac but does have ocean breezes. The breakfast is okay if you like cereal and packaged pastries. All rooms do have kitchens, but you'd have to get food to use them! Overall we really liked the place.
This place has a ton of hidden spots. At night we watched the sunset over the harbor and it looked like at least 10 other people found our little hidden spot. Very unique!response / report this review -

very nice hotel. i have been here twice and loved it. i returned this month (january 2017) to visit for winter break and was refused a room because i am under 21 (currently 20). The two previous times i was not told anything even after showing my ID. I made my reservations 2 weeks in advance, checked the terms and conditions and saw nothing about an age requirement, showed up and was not given a room leaving me with no where to stay for the night. the girl at the help desk looked like she was about 16 and did not know what she was doing as she had to ask someone else for help and when the next girl didn't know what to do they had to contact a manager over the phone. definitely not returning.
