The hotel is located near the San Antonio River walk downtown in San Antonio, Texas 78215. The rooms are both clean and well kept. The hotel offers a variety of accommodations which include Free Wi-FI, an outdoor pool, Breakfast, and a laundry center.

I stay here every chance I get when I visit San Antonio. The staff and management are kind, professional, and honest Texan hosts. I love the continental breakfast and how I am treated here. Everything is in its right place in every room.

PEOPLE WHO JUST COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING HAVE NO LIFE. If you didn't like something about your stay then you should have just left.
My stay here was awesome. This is my 5th time here in the last 3 months. The lady's in the office are awesome and not airhead like other hotel front desk clerk's. The lady that checked me in was the owner and she explained everything clearly. Very nice, I went back in the evening to see if they could recommend food for dinner. To think her name was Sara and the place she recommended was great she was on point and she was so busy with other guest and she still acknowledged me while doing 100 things. I saw her up and down and back and forth that she would not stop I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family anytime. I was also informed that they are going through a major renovation. And invited me to come backin a few months to stay here when I come back to San Antonio. So you people just stop. They are new owners and go above and beyond for their guest. I have seen it with my own eyes at every visit here.

Room was decent, bathroom door couldn't close all the way, but it's possible that it was just humid. Beds were comfy enough, but the pillows werent very supportive. Shower had nice height and water pressure (I'm 6'3" so tall showers are great.) All in all, decent place to stay for the price.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been in my entire life. It is just disgusting! The room itself was so disgusting I could not sleep just thinking on all the diseases I could be getting for sleeping on that bed. I think San Antonio health department should visit this place and close it. It is just disrespectful to have this place open to the public. Everything was dirty, nasty and old. I am very glad we made it alive that night. Please do not book on this hotel, pay a little bit more and sleep safe and sound.

Two stars because I didn't die here.
Hotel room number one stunk like urine. The bathroom did anyways. So no
Room number two wouldn't open with card AND the door looked bashed in. Like kicking was going on to try & bust open the door!
We finally accepted room number three BUT the restroom did smell a bit. My conclusion is that the shower curtains don't get changed out!
And the second card did not work so safety issue!
The room itself wasn't bad BUT the cigarette burn holes on the bed comforter wasn't a nice sight to see and deal with. So that being said, we did NOT asleep under the top comforter. We rolled into burritos when we slept. We had to! Like, why keep those sheets on the bed?!
Anyways, the location is nice tho! It's close to the main streets and walking distance to the river walk for sure! The AC did work so that's a good thing for summer.
Okay so I highly recommend bringing your own covers or comforter if you plan on coming here.
Seriously!!! But it's not bad if you just wanna leave your stuff for the day. just don't leave valuables.
They do offer a safe in the rooms but still.

This is no longer a Super 8. The lady at the front desk said that they were in a transition period. The room had graffiti on the mirror and the TV. It's right under 35, so all you hear all night is traffic, and the walls shake every time a big truck drives over. There was also no hot water.
The front desk staff were very courteous, thankfully, and very apologetic for the condition of our room. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much the night we were there.response / report this review -

ATTENTION!!!! Very bad experience! It's a rundown motel for drugs and prostitutes! Tried to get a refund but couldn't! The lady in charge was very sweet and tried to make it better. Too bad she has to put up with an owner like that! Just couldn't get the refund. It's no longer a motel 8 it's owned privately. I give the motel a bad rating. The woman in charge gets AAAAA+++ !
