The room was great. I loved our fireplace. Lots of space. The walls were a bit thin and we could hear people on the stairs, which bothered our dog a bit, but the hotel was nice!
Great suite, Internet was not good but room was spacious. Room was kind of noisey, we could hear the upstairs guests and hallway noise was an issue. Guest services was great, front desk staff was awesome.
This place was clean and comfortable. We paid 210 or so for a 2 bedroom suite but we were charged a non refundable fee of 100.00 for our dog! Way overpriced! We will definitely look for other pet friendly hotels when driving thru this area again.
Our stay was great until they kept shutting our keys off and locking us out. They started taking money out like it was their promotion! Then they wanted to put my pregnant butt on the curb because they didn't want to wait for my company to pay them an hour later! Then they started charging for damages but when we went to check there was none but they still remained to take money out of our account! Be careful with these scammers!
Very nice hotel. Clean room and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again.
Nothing special. My first time at a Residence Inn. The staff were very nice. The hotel grounds were well maintained. Due to the hotel configuration parking availability close to your room was challenging. The room is okay. The beds are not the Marriott quality you would find in a Courtyard, etc. The bathroom is SMALL.
The hotel has two parts, apartment-type accomodations and a more traditional single hotel building. The apartment type rooms are dated. I have been in cleaner hotels. The spare bedding for the sofa bed was used and smelled like wet dog. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked and the carpeting was in poor shape. The mattresses are comfortable and the showers have good water pressure.
2 words PRICE GOUGING!!!
All hotels do it, raise rates because there is a big event in town etc, etc - these guys take it to the extreme I USED to stay here all of the time for business. A few times though I would call and the rate would be 1/3 higher for whatever reason - fine. I called last Wednesday to stay over and the gentleman ont he phone said the price and it was almost DOUBLE what I normally pay for a regular room. I asked why it was so much and he actually said "it's because we only have two rooms left so we need to get the maximum from them" - I couldn't believe it . I told him that was the last time I would be staying there.
Absolutely terrible to do that to your customers and the thing was - they don't even care as long as they fill the rooms and get every last $$ from you they really don't care - if this hotel is locally owned and the owner reads this take notice because you simply don't take advantage of people like this!
We stayed here in a 2 bedroom suite for our time at Hersheypark. The location was excellent, just a short drive from the attractions. Our room was modern, comfortable, and spacious enough to comfortably hold 5 people. The beds were excellent, although there was no top sheet for the sofabed. Breakfast is complete and sufficient, although it is only served until 9 AM. Pools and grounds are very attractive.
Big rooms. Good breakfast. Self park across the street that is less than tge valet by $10/day.
Seems like the overall quality of residence inn is falling. The ones I stayed before were nice and somewhat luxurious. This one felt like motel 6. Staff was friendly though.
Quiet during the weekend. Not sure if as quiet during the week because it's located in an industrial area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was adequate.
The one bedroom suite was clean and spacious. Loved the fireplace. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
This was horrible experience! I had gone into the lobby with my girlfriend. A travel nurse, who was just starting a contract in Pen State Hershey medical center.
We were interested in the accommodation at the price.
We finished the face to face transaction with a handshake because I overwhelmed & happy that I was able to get her into a hotel with a hot tub.
My girlfriend worked 7pm -7am shift. I loaded up the van as best as possible. I thought about that tub and then some sleep.
I had called the front desk for information about a move in time.
I made the mistake of asking for a handicapped room. The manager immediately as, frantic as I was elated finding the room, in a degrigat tone told me she would not rent a room to a handicapped person for extended time.
