super friendly. the rooms were clean, and smelled good. the staff even kept the pool open later for my kids, after driving all day a pool was all the kids wanted. the food was so-so at the restaurant, small portions and high prices. but it filled their bellies just the same. will stay again.
Went to the What if Restaurant for a paint nite event. Had a blast! The restaurant is in the basement and kind of musty, could use an update. Otherwise the service was great and the drinks reasonably priced. Try Paint Nite, it's fun!
Nice place to stay when visiting Hershey Park. Price is right, beds are comfy, and staff is friendly. I left my favorite loafers at the hotel and did not realize it until I arrived at home. Jennifer at the front desk was very helpful. I arranged and paid for a pickup directly with UPS. She had to box them up and fill out the label at the time of pickup. I received the shoes next day. Very nice problem-solving on her part and I am very grateful.
Very comfortable atmosphere at in the private room at the what if cafe. Hotel looked very cute, will definitely consider staying there. Staff was pleasant, food was very good. The resturant is located in the basement.
Howard Johnson Hershey was great for me and my family. We drove in on a Friday night and really only needed the room to sleep before going to Hershey Park the next day. The front desk staff was courteous and kind getting us our room quickly. The room/hotel was old, but it serves it's purpose beautifully. Free breakfast was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again.
I recently attended a baby shower held at the what if cafe inside the Howard Johnson inn Hershey and it was perfect. The space provided an intimate atmosphere and we were able easily socialize and celebrate the mom and baby to be. The appetizers, sandwich spread and the desserts were all delicious.
We had a great experience at the hotel. We had forgotten my daughters family hand me down pillow (her dad's when he was a toddler) at the hotel. We realized this after a long day at the park. COREY at the front desk was very helful at hunting down the pillow which was no longer in the room after we had checked out. Thankful to him and the hotel manager for a great customer service experience. Customer for life!
Clean, neat, friendly, good value. We had a problem with the shower and they moved is in 5 minutes.
Great service, clean room, affordable!!! We had a noise issue, but reported it to the front desk and it was quickly resolved! Kids had a blast at the pool, we had a great stay! Good breakfast to start the day too!
We went to What If, the hotel restaurant and bar. The food was mediocre but not great, especially for the high price. Bread was stale, dressings and sauces were very acidic, and portions for some meals were small.
It was a very cheap rate hotel. If you are expecting a fancy place then go somewhere else. The room was ok. No frills. The front desk clerks were very nice. We had an issue with the first room and they switched us to another open room. The free breakfast was pretty basic but for such a cheap rate you can't complain. It is very close the Hershey Park and other Hershey related attractions. Nice dessert and restaurant places across the street.
I stayed at this hotel after a concert in Hershey. I had looked up room rates prior to my arrival. I was charged $40.00 over the rate that I found online and was put in a room with 2 queens when I only requested one. I was told that there was no availability for one a Queen room, but the parking lot as EMPTY. Wifi signal was very weak, and breakfast was horrible. I recommend staying elsewhere if you are visiting the Hershey area!
