This hotel needs updating. The window on my room was falling out of the frame, tape holding the baseboard on and just didn't seem super clean. The front desk ladies were very nice
Tajuana needs a raise! She is the most professional, personable and engaging front desk agent I have ever dealt with. She made our stay more than memorable!!
Enjoyed my stay! The room was facing the courtyard and was super quiet. Very clean, everything worked. I liked Brie cheese and Greek yogurt for breakfast.
This really isn't a hotel, it's a residence just like they say. The staff has gone above and beyond for me; and I mean every single staff memeber- front desk, hospitality, maintenance, shuttle drivers. I have never had a hotel exceed my expectations like this one. The rooms are studios, up to two bedroom apartments. A kitchenette or full kitchen in each room. An amazing packet put together for each guest that explains things to do, activities at the hotel (such as their complimentary wine/beer/food service M-W 6-730/8) and reviews of local eateries or bars. If you want to stay in a nice area that is located next to amazing shopping and restaurants, be treated like a true neighbor and have great service stay here. I will only be looking for residence inns from now on when I travel. I travel frequently for work and have never had a more enjoyable stay than this one. Thank you Residence inn for making a two week stay enjoyable and a place I wanted to be.
Rooms are expensive because of the location but the hotel provides many amenities. Pots, pans, utensils for cooking your own meals. Plus, a dishwasher and access to coin laundry. There's a pool, basketball court, and they have a mini store with last minute essentials and snacks. Parking is okay. It can get full and feel limited at times, though. They serve free breakfast daily. And have other events throughout the week. My biggest complaint is that this big old place only has 2 elevators and their channel selection Is limited as well.
I stayed here during the Bonner Brothers Hair Show weekend. While the area was beautiful. The hotel, not so much. I had an issue with one of the guest services rep, but the issue was later corrected by another rep upon my arrival. The beds were definitely uncomfortable and need to be updated. They were also doing some painting and the fumes were a bit much. The hallways have a smell to them as well.
Plenty of useful things are provided. Because I've been to this hotel before, I know the breakfast is a quality which exceeds that of many other hotels. The room is nice, too. No problems here.
Nice area by the actual hotel room was not that great. There is no oven in the rings and I had to ask management for a getting pan. Toilet was broken when I checked in. The staff was not very friendly either. They have a pretty nice courtyard and it's a nice place to take a walk.
It's difficult to find, the front office is located behind some bushes, the elevators and hallways reek of an old scent, sweat, and and unknown scent. The rooms were a nice layout. And it was very quiet. I would not stay here again.
They do not have much in the way as accommodations. Also their customer service is very lacking. Not many garbage cans in room. No bar or resteraunt. Also apparently yoy can hear everything by the pool from your room. We were kicked out around 10p. Security staff was very professional.
Room was nice and the location was great. 3 stars though. My biggest problem is their is no access to lobby/breakfast from inside the hotel. You have to go outside and walk through a courtyard to go in. Not a big deal, unless it's 40 deg and pouring rain and you have small kids.
The staff tried to accommodate everything we asked for which I really appreciated.
We stayed here for one night while attending a concert at the Buckhead Theatre. The hotel was great. Our room was decorated with modern furniture/artwork, clean and spacious - studio style with a kitchenette and sectional sofa in the front, and double bed and bathroom in the back. Parking was free, breakfast was included daily, and the staff was helpful and courteous. I definitely recommend the Residence Marriott in Buckhead for any stay, long or short.
It's situated at the heart of the city's business district so it's very easy to go to. Their rooms are always clean and cozy. They have well kept beds and bathrooms. I always use the gym. Their staff always attend to my needs almost immediately and get back to me in the shortest amount of time possible. My friends and I think it's the best hotel in that city.
