The bedding in both of the beds in our room had multiple stains that appeared to be bodily fluids. The stains were on four individual pieces of bedding. After asking the manager on duty to observe the stains, she agreed to refund our money. It has been three months and I have not received the refund. See attached photos.
Somple and clean. Had fire alarm at 2oclock. No information or water were offered. No where to grab breakfast. You will need to walk 10-15 to nearest eatery or uber $7.92.
Lots of shopping at same distance. Very functional stay if you can get a good rate.
Great staff, nice bed, my one suggestion is to add some more wall art, my walls were clean and nice but only 1 landscape on the walls. All in all great value for the money!
We had good customer service at both check-in and check-out. Also, the room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. Only down side, the walls are extremely thin - we heard our neighbors easily.
If you want to get HIGH just walking down the hall of this "NO SMOKING" hotel then this second hand WEED smoke shop is the one for you. DON'T WANT TO SLEEP AT NIGHT? Then stay here ! Someone BANGED ON OUR DOOR twice until we answered at 11PM. Then 3 others knocked between 12 - 3 AM. The walls were thicker in my college dorm. You can literally here the people above you take a piss. And if you want to check in forget about it I had the reservation e-mail, CC and DL on the reservation. still wouldn't let me in. Had to wait until my boyfriend got off work to be "physically here" to check in. SO STUPID and the receptionist copped an attitude when I said I didn't understand why I couldn't check into our reservation. Then she refused to move us to a king bed even though the hotel was 90% empty. All that said the cleaning staff was great and very friendly as well as 1 younger manager we met. They allow pets which is very nice. We're up here every week for 4 days and WE WON'T BE BACK . I suggest you save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.
Clean, nice hotel I haven't stayed in a Red Roof Inn in 10+ years. This location definitely changed my view of this chain. The price was high due to low availability through the NY Metro area. At a more traditional price, I would consider this location a good value.
At over $200 per night, this place could have been better. It was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the outlets convenient. The rest was very bare bones. No carpet. No decaf in the lobby. No half and half, only non-dairy sweetened hydrogenated fat and sweet and low. Not classy. There was also no hot water for the provided tea bags.
It's not bad. Location is great. Restaurants and shopping all around. Rooms are clean and spacious. However, things to note: there are a lot of people with dogs. The side door locks, but doesn't have a card reader, and the layout of the rooms can be weird to some. Overall, not bad for me. I'd stay here again.
The general manager, Brian has the worst attitude. He is arrogant, rude, and has no customer service skills. Keep him there and anyone he interacts with will not be returning. The hotel tries to get over on everyone with the $1.63 safe fee that they hardly ever remove or say they are but do not. If you stay put at check out to make sure it is removed, expect to be there at least a half hour. Double check later it still may or may not be removed. The front desk staff are cool and down to earth but anyone with a little title, stay away!
NOT WORTH THE PRICE
•There is parking space first come first served.
•The customer service at the front desk was not great. The morning manager has a nasty attitude and does not do his best to make sure guest are taken care of. The attitudes of the workers are better than that of the manager.
•They have room service, but your bed sheets are NOT changed everyday. They just change towels and give u soap.
• The water in the sink goes down slow.
•The room smells horrible. The carpet needs changing.
• They advertise that they have breakfast but they do NOT.
•The mall is right across the street. Walking distance.
The room itself is great. The sheets and beds are comfortable but when you are trying to sleep, the walls are thin so you can hear everything. There are some emitting lights at night so it can be hard for sleepers who need complete darkness and easy for those who need light. Smokers are on the other side of the hallway so the smell gets inside of our rooms sometimes. It's better if they made one hallway nonsmokers and the other hallway for smokers. Other than these, it's a good hotel.
Give it a swerve. Nowhere to park my bike under cover despite them telling me there would be. Room smelled of smoke, vending machines only dispense beverages, hood rats have left their mark in the guise of graffiti in the elevators, no breakfast, paper thin walls.
As one other reviewer said Red Roof MInus would be a more appropriate name.
PS: If I'd paid 60 bucks for the room all this would be expected. It was way more.
