We were very pleased with our room! I was spotless and very nice. I highly recommend. Prices were great also. The hotel is situated close to everything as well.

I stayed here in December of 2017

It took several minutes to check me in

They would not give me a hospital rate unless I verified that my relative was in the hospital

The maintenance man was outside my room with a leaf blower for a long time

The room was cold, the heat is like a baseboard type heat, but the baseboard type heaters are near the ceiling. Remember - Hot air rises

Then when i checked in they kept my drivers license.
I meant to pick it up b4 I left but forgot. I had to drive 1hr and 15 min each way

All I got was a measly email which said " Sorry"

I personally will not stay here anymore.

Rooms were really nice and clean. Updated very nice and lived up to the pictures. Staff was very nice and helpful. The price can't be beat. We stayed at a few hotels where they look nothing like the pics on the site and so glad this one did. Defiantly where I will be staying when visiting Columbus Ohio.

The pros:
1. Being close to a food outlet (avoid the Afghan fast-food!! Gives you diarrhea!)
2. Fairly close to Ohio State University campus
3. Nice iron and iron table in rooms

The cons:
1. Dangerous coffee maker in all rooms!! Be very careful if you are gonna make two cups of coffee with it It spills very hot water out!! terrible and dangerous product!
2. No breakfast
3. Some rooms have poor WiFi signal
4. Very soft bed
5. Terrible soap for the bathroom sink
6. High price for the mediocre service

Had to make a last minute trip to Columbus. Picked the Red Roof Plus because there was no time for distraction or sightseeing, therefore I was only interested in a clean bed and coffee in the a.m.

Although the room was small, it was perfect! Exceptionally clean room, nice shower with decent food near by. I have stayed in Columbus' finest hotels and I will pick this RR+, as I can get 3 rooms for the price of one night at the Hilton across the street. Don't let the price fool you. This hotel is a hidden gem within a world of unnecessary amenities.

For those who take a star off for towels and wash cloths, you are able to go to the desk and ask for one.

I also appreciate their "green" options. I hope they never change, it was excellent!

Downtown is an easy and fairly short drive away. I went from Lobby to Short North in abt 20 minutes on a weekday afternoon. Room was decent. Bathroom door was hard to close. Service was standard for a hotel. Nothing made it stunning.

Room not very convenient. No counter in bathroom, only sink. Standing in the tub for a shower was like standing in a barrel cut length ways. You had to hold the wall and rail or you would fall, the bottom was curved. I will give credit, it was clean and clerks were nice.

Really comfy and clean rooms. Quite, especially for being so close to Ohio state campus. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the amenities are very basic. Each room does have a mini fridge and microwave, which is convenient.

Location was very convenient to the concert venue we were in town for. Plentiful parking, very quiet despite being right by the road. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, AC worked great. All employees who we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

Clean nice rooms. Good restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff. Only 2 miles from mapfre stadium. It's a really convenient place to stay

Convenient location, right next to a shopping plaza with lots of restaurants. Comfortable rooms & beds. Nice little coffee station at the front desk. The only complaint I had was another guest's dog barking all morning. The rate is usually very affordable, at about $70/night. I've seen it jump up to $142 at peak times.

Superior room was adequate. Premium room was much more spacious and VERY comfortable. The front desk staff, Ryan in particular, went way above and beyond to ensure I had a first-class experience. Every hotel should have people like this on its staff. Just when I was pleasantly pleased with the service, Ryan left his front desk position to take additional steps to make sure I was satisfied and them some.

Kudos to Red Roof Plus for having such employees. I look forward to future visits.

I love Red Roof hotels because they ate affordable and always clean. The Red Roof + hotel in Columbus was outstanding. Very comfortable and spotless! The fixtures and decor were modern, with everything you need to make your stay pleasant.
