Clean rooms, quiet neighbor hood! Very well lit, and staff is very friendly. The only thing was that the room I was placed in had a faulty toilet, and shower head. Other than that it was a pretty good stay.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!! I Made a reservation through Booking thinking it will be a clean, smoke free, quiet, odor free decent hotel based on the price! I was completely wrong after checking in the problems started the place smells like a dirty mop, if you like marijuana smell, cat smell and want to have the worst customer service by all means stay at this dirty place. I do not understand how this dirty hotel it’s still called red roof inn, the standards have been dragged through the floor in this place! I cannot even imagine taking a shower in that place OMG if you want to enjoy your stay in San Antonio DO NOT STAY THERE! This place is not even half way decent!

Room 123 should have never been rented. We stayed in the hotel, over Thanksgiving . we were limited in choices due to my handicap and traveling with a dog. The positives were Nice bed, loud fan and easy access to the room from the the car. The negatives start with entrance to the hotel. No sign at wolfe Road indicating the entrance. when you turn right on Wolfe It looks like a dead end into a deserted warehouse area. We called the hotel and they assured us we were on the right path. (since no sign, your landmark is the taco truck with the strobe light on the dash. the next right is Wolfe Rd. the room was acceptable but the bathroom was atrocious. Obviously flooded at one time and poorly fixed. the shower floor was covered with busted tile ( I needed a rollin shower). the Hair dryer had brown stains on it. Poop, chocolate or hair dye, take your pick. Luckily I'm bald. the last night the commode backed up and overflowed at 1:30 AM. The Manager gave us the key for the room next door which had been completely remodeled but no roll in shower

the manager comped us one night. He told us the room was scheduled for a remodel but it had been postponed until Feb. don't rent it until renovated.

We have sworn off Red Roof inns for La Quinta's

All around experience was not good, when I first checked in there was 3 employees at one computer at front desk, and not one said anything to me as I stood in front of them. Another employee came from the back and checked me in when realized i wasnt acknowledged by other 3. When got to my room it reeked of mold. For 70.00 a night they had no fridge, no microwave, no lotion, no iron, no blowdryer normal amenities were not in room. When i called front desk to see if they had iron or blowdryer, they told me i had to go get from front desk. The shower water literally took 10 minutes to be warm too. I've stayed at Red Roofs plenty of times to know that this was the worst on my far.

The rooms are smelly and dirty. I had reserve 3 rooms . The carpet was dirty. The room I reserve for my mom I was very mad. There was a little baggy that was use for some drugs n they just gave her another room. That room smelled like piss. I was beyond upset. I will never stay there again. Nor recommend this place to anyone ..just plain Awful.. we went to San Antonio for for funeral. Just plain SAD

Staff courteous and nice. BUT believe the reviews!! The rooms smell awful!!! I'm pretty sure they clean with bacteria and mop with mold! I got an instant headache and my eyes were itching after being in the room 10 minutes. Asked to switch rooms and the attendant did without problems. Same thing in next room ask for a refund which was done right away.

My fiance and I woke up to bed bug bites on our bottoms and her head. The rooms aren't dark enough at night due to the outside lights right by the window. Restroom is small with on stains on the wall. Hotel looks outdated. I saw a little orange spider on my arm while I was on the bed. They do have hot showers though. The hallway was quiet for the most part. The rooms are better inside compared to the ones facing outside on the first floor. Won't be coming back again no matter what the price is.

My stay started off good. I wasn't expecting a 5 star room so it was pretty comfartable for the price we paid. The start of my second day things got worse. The house keeping lady gave us towels that were stained and we noticed a small blood stain on the sheets that wasn't there when we went to bed. It wasn't until I woke up the 2nd morning with bumps on my arms and face that I realized the small blood stain came from bed bugs. We checked in on 05/19 and checked out 5/21. We will not stay at this establishment anymore.

The carpets were so dirty that after spending a single night walking on them it turned my feet black. I would say that we got what we paid for but $60 plus tax was too much. Never stay in room 137. Bring your own towels and for that matter throw away sheets. There was a tip envelope that we found NO BERENDA you will not get any money for the piss poor job that you did although I'm sure upper management had a little something to do with it. This was my first and last time staying at a Red Roof Inn!

Got charged $120 for one night and $170 for each night after (weekend) for a tiny room with a king size bed that was barely bigger than a queen. The entire building is dedicated nonsmoking but there were several cigarette holes in the comforter. Room was barely cleaned (most of the trash was under the bed!), bed felt like 2 box springs stacked up, halls smelt like an old tenement apartment building (no exaggeration- I've been in one several times and the only thing that was missing from the scent smorgasbord was cabbage), only amenities were coffee in the lobby, cable, and adequate wifi. Nothing in the room at all, not even a little fridge. It was pretty terrible.

I got what I expected for the price I paid. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great because I was going to Holy Archangels Monastery but still wanted to stay in San Antonio. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am going back to San Antonio this weekend and will book a room there again because everything was great!
