Rooms are exceptional. Very clean and up to date. Beds are extremely comfortable and blankets are warm. Heat worked great, almost too good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The few things that stopped me from giving this hotel a 5 🌟 review are: the room keys stopped working between 15-20 times over my 3 night stay. We would have to go to the front desk and get the key updated or receive a new key. It was pretty annoying since it was cold outside and the front desk was a decent walk outdoors. Also the pop vending machines did not have anything in them. Overall though I will definitely be returning. For the price I don't think you'll find much better.

The lobby smells great and is updated and modern. They decorated for Christmas and it was sharp! Essie was working the front desk and she was so kind and helpful! The room was clean and the heating/cooling unit worked well. What a good experience and for a reasonable price!

Nice quiet suburban area within about 15 minutes from Downtown Detroit & most other points of interest for tourists within the area. Many fast food, upscale, & casual restaurants nearby. Also many major shopping mall stores, Wal-Mart, Whole Foods etc. within a few miles.
Hotel seems busy but soundproofing was great & was actually nice quiet place to stay over weekend & into the week of Thanksgiving. Rooms were the updated, Red Roof deluxe plus rooms & were big enough not to be annoyed by hubby & 15yo teen daughter. Hardwood look floors, desk & dresser area, 2 comfy double beds, shower, bath, vanity area, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, free WiFi & parking, friendly front desk staff, daily maid service who aren't intrusive if don't need it but will kindly give you any extra towels & toiletries when asked.
Great Veteran's pricing & paid $210 total (well below average for the area) for 4 nights. Overall, nice if on short business or family city trip, or just stopping off the highway to rest for the night.response / report this review -

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to cancel 11 people out of this hotel after rats were spotted running around. Not to mention bathrooms covered with hair and just plain down right grungy. Don't be fooled by the cheap price> this place is truly a dump. Watch out - they give away rooms to even if you have booked it and have your stuff in their. One of my guys came back to his room to find a young asian lady in their with her things uh hello? How does that happen.

Not a bad hotel, but no coffee maker in the room, exhaust fan in bathroom was very loud and toilet ran non stop. Desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff was courteous and room was clean, those are the good points. However, half the lights either did not work or were unscrewed for some reason, when I called for towels it took two hours to get them, and finally I scheduled a wake up call for 630a.m. that I never received. When I brought up these issues with staff they had nothing but one excuse after another. So if I had to rate it I would say 2 of 5 stars and only two because of the courteous staff and cleanliness of the room. Also they were under renovation which made it exceptionally loud, which they did not disclose to me when I made the reservation.

I felt bed for the poor review I left for another hotel I stayed in a night earlier. By comparison, that hotel was pristine. The room had laminate floors that were not clean, my feet were black on the bottom. The bathroom was moldy in places and the tub drained slowly. The beds were small, too.

The rooms have a ~32 inch tv, a mini fridge, and they are currently installing new furniture. My room was non smoking but it smelled smokey anyway. There's no coffee machine in the room but they do brew it in the lobby.

Descent price for the location. Conveniently located near highway. Friendly staff. Room could have been cleaning more thoroughly. TV was a little weird to scroll through the channels. No breakfast. Not a bad place but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Showed up tonight with my wife and daughter, with a reservation I'd made more than a month ago. I walked in around 11pm to check in after a long day, only to be told there were no rooms available. But I had a reservation number and everything?? I was told, "Well, you can give me your reservation number, but it won't matter because I don't have any rooms available."

I stayed here from a Sunday night to Thursday morning when I checked out. I met three different people at the front desk, all pleasant, but the young man that was there most frequently was pleasant, engaging, and had a sense of humor.
The room was clean, the place was quiet in the evenings, and it's a close drive to food, drinks, gas, and pretty much anything the average traveler would want. And, very importantly, it's easy-on and easy-off from I-75. In my case that was great because I was working at the Ren Cen, and the drive couldn't have been less complicated.response / report this review
