My best advice is NOT TO STAY HERE! The non-smoking rooms smell like smoke, they're not stocked or cleaned. It's just terrible, worst hotel experience my family and I ever had! If I could give no stars, I would.

Room was nice. Desk attendant very friendly and helpful. Only issue, I requested a first floor room cause I'm handicapped but they didn't honor my request. Even though I had a guaranteed reservation, I arrived around 8 pm & was told they had just given my first floor room to someone else & if I would have arrived an half hour earlier I would have had a first floor. I don't think my arrival time should have made a difference since I had a guaranteed room

I love the desk clerks! They are so helpful, patient and friendly no matter how crazy things might have gotten! I love staying here! It is very clean. I stayed over a w week and they were great at making sure i was ok and didn't need anything! Thank you so much Red Roof Inn on Arlington in Akron Ohio! You guys are so wonderful!!! 💫❤💜💫

Great location, right next to Walmart. Whole building is a non smoking area. Great for children. Nice staff.

Second time I have stayed at this location. The staff is excellent, the price is good. My only complaint would be that housekeeping could do a much better job.

My Husband and I like Red Roof because of their pet friendly policy. We normally stayed at a different Red Roof location and although it was OK the Akron location blew it away hands down. The rooms were very clean. I really liked not having carpet on the floors and the tub was extremely clean and the water pressure was amazing and hot not Luke warm. The location was spot on for any traveller. Tons of food choices and Wal-Mart is right next door so if we forgot anything or simply wanted a new shirt we had choices. I have to acknowledge the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. When I arrived after an 8 hour drive there were 2 people in front of me and I expected to wait patiently through the check in process. The young woman whipped through customer after customer like a pro. She got all three of us checked in with amazing speed and friendly. The coffee in the lobby was also amazing, Hot and fresh, I actually ate breakfast at Dennys but preferred the coffee offered at the Red Roof. I was not only pleased but impressed with what I got for the price I got it.

It's a nice sized room. Bathroom is on the small side, not enough lighting. There is no in room mini coffee maker like other places, no mini fridge, or microwave. Those come in an upgraded larger room. Not very satisfied. It's good if your staying one night.

Love the fact the room has a wood-like floor and the rooms were very clean anf modern. Staff was extremely nice and eve brought a pack n play to my room for my 1 yr old son. Highly recommend this hotel!

In general, I love Red Roof Inn --the one in Akron, not so much. While all the high-impact issues were positive (a perfectly cleaned room, nice and smiling staff, early check-in, great location and fair price), wifi was unfortunately down, neighbors were loud, we did not feel safe, and there was no breakfast. Hence, a 4-star rating.

Staff is pretty friendly and the room was ok. Nothing overly special about my experience. Some negatives though are the fact that my room has a pretty old stale smoke smell which is inconvenient. However, I did not try and change rooms because of it. Otherwise the room was clean minus leftover packet grounds in the coffee maker. It is a good value for the price and works just fine if you aren't picky about some minor inconveniences

Clean, comfortable and welcoming are 3 words I'd use to describe this place. I've been here several times and, without exception, have been treated with respect, competence and smiles - even arriving late at night. Has a decent indoor pool and hot tub area. Breakfast provides many choices. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24/7. And it's right in the middle of any shopping/services needs one could imagine.
