These folks have been amazingly hospitable. For the most part, rooms are quiet. They are always comfortable and clean. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk of a number of eateries, and about a 10 or 12 minute walk 🚶 of the beaches. Having stayed at Ramada over 100 days in 2017 already, and tried other options, my choice is obvious!
Very nice. Very clean, nice room. Great breakfast. Would of given 5 stars but the vending machine never gave me my item and took my money, 2 times. Will definitely stay here again.
This hotel was very nice and clean. It did not have enough parking. And even though it was in the ghetto it was cool
Great hotel offering comfortable accommodations at reasonable prices. stay on the top 3 floors and the lack of public access offers an extra sense of security. by far the best place to stay for the price.
Great experience. Felt it was adequate and clean. If returning late at night there may not be enough parking spaces in the parking lot.
Love this place!!! Had one issue when we arrived at 5am after driving 16 hours from Texas. They canceled my reservation!!! But after talking to the very polite gentleman at the front desk he got everything situated and gave me the night for free and a discounted rate for the rest of my stay. The entry ways make it feel very secure. You have to have a key card to get in the stairs or the elevator. The room is very room and even has a bunk bed for my children!!! Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. This is seriously the best place you can stay at in Oceanside for the price!! It's almost like staying at a hotel that charges $150+ a night, but your paying half the price!!! I would definitely stay again!!!!
Clean room, very accommodating staff. Continental breakfast had a lot more options than most do; the waffles were delicious, the boiled eggs were rubbery. This Ramada is just a few minutes from the beach, at which there's a parking lot that is $5 for the day, and we were maybe 10 minutes from the harbor. I will definitely stay here if I'm in the area again.
Not a great start - took the elevator to third floor and the outer door would not open!! No apology when we went back downstairs - just a "maybe we should put a sign up" - really?? Took the elevator to 4, walked to stairs, went down a flight.
Outside corridors, not my favorite. Room is dated, has a funky odor. Looking for an outlet, found old food wrappers and nutshells on floor behind dresser - absolutely disgusting!!!
Sheets clean, bed comfortable, I've been traveling for almost 10 hours, looking forward to morning and out of here.
We checked in and threw our stuff in the room. Took off right away to go to dinner without checking out the room. When we returned I opened the bathroom door and it smelled like a dog kennel. The smell of dog urine was horrible. The beds were like slabs of granite. We had to wait till someone checked out the next day to get a new room. The staff was great about getting us a new room but the motel was full, hence the waiting until the next day. When we got the new room we got a smaller room than our original room. It was very musty smelling, like a basement that had been closed up for a few months with moisture problems. This room had the same rock hard beds. As an added bonus this new room also had lots of gnats in it. The parking lot has less spaces than the motel has rooms so good luck getting a parking spot if you're not here early. This place is dated, dingy and in a run down neighborhood. I would not recommend this this place to anyone under any circumstances.
Ramada is one of my favorite motel chains. This particular motel didn't disappoint me as well. Everything is clean and cozy. Location is perfect if you plan to visit the legoland, and inexpensive too.
It was wonderful the first time we stayed here a few years ago, but this time it wasn't as clean, and the staff wasn't as friendly or helpful. We asked how to get to our room with heavy luggage. They told us repeatedly to take the elevator, but there was no elevator access to our room. After we convinced them there was no way to get to our room by elevator, they said "I guess I could see if someone could take it up for you later if they're not busy." We just dragged it up ourselves. At least there were two of us so one could stay with the baby while the other dragged the luggage up.
This is the second time we have visited Oceanside and our second time at the Best Western Oceanside Palms. It is a very pretty very clean hotel and yet at the same time very homey! We had a king size bed in our room along with a sleep couch if we needed it
Great spacious rooms and the front desk clerk helped me right away and gave me a description of the hotels facility. I've stayed here multiple times and haven't had a complaint yet
