Everyone was being evacuated due to the fires here in California, but they where able to find one last room for us when everything else was booked.

The room was nice and the employees were really kind. The only issue I had was my AC was busted and breakfast ends at a sharp 9. (I wake up at 10) sheets were confy and the bath looked clean.

Great family Hotel, updated rooms spacious, comfortable bed & pillows, the room I got had mini fridge coffee maker, hair dryer, air conditioner, shampoos & lotions, they have a swimming pool & jacuzzi, ice machine, vending machines, washers and dryers for guests use. The hotel offers Continental breakfast. Location is excellent, of the freeway easy to find & easy access to freeway, with grocerie stores and.99¢ and Dollar tree near by, the price is more than reasonable and the staff was excellent I definitely recommend Super 8 hotel in Escondido.

Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable bed & pillows, convenient location easy access to freeway entrance & exit, great location where you can find a grocery store, movie theater,Park and even a .99¢ store for those household items you didn't pack for family run/ family friendly. The facilities feature free WiFi, swimming pool and hot tub, laundry area, ice machine and vending machine, the rooms are big & up to date and feature coffee maker (coffee, sugar, creamer,cups) Refrigerator, microwave, stationary area, eating area hairdryer, lotion, shampoo & conditioner, shower caps & facial tissues. I had time to go down for breakfast which feature coffee, apple juice, orange juice, cereals (frosted flakes, raissen brand) waffle maker and toast the price was reasonable the things I liked about this Hotel were location, comfort and price. I stayed about a week the staff was great, I recommen Super 8 Safari park in Escondido to all.

Double bed rooms are roomy and clean. This place should definitely keep the pool and Jacuzzi open later than 9pm and upgrade it's breakfast options.

Thought everything was very luxurious and in great condition until my second night in, I went to grab something from my car and saw a roach (biggest I've seen) about as long as my pinky and nearly s*** myself, and running back to my room, I saw another one someone had stepped on earlier. GAG

Rooms are nice. Microwave, fridge and wifi included. Breakfast is fair quality. For the cheaper price, this hotel is pretty decent.

I am here now. The room is very clean and doesn't smell like smoke. The room has a modern feel to it. The flat screen TV is awesome and all the appliances work. Great job Super 8 Escondito.

Liked the size of my room but the man up front had me pay with my credit card even tho we wanted to pay up front with cash. there were no towels in the bathroom other than wash cloths which was an awful surprise after my shower. Also I left with two odd bites on me and I wouldn't be surprised if they were from bed bugs 😩 only upside was the price

Overall our stay was very pleasant, the room was exactly what we expected for the price (under $100/night). It's your standard Super 8 room, and I have stayed in many across the country. You do get a free continental breakfast, basic stuff (toast, cereal, packaged cinnamon roll, make your own waffles) however the juice machine was not working and only coffee was available, not so great for the kids. The only issue we had in the room was the bathroom door had a slight problem with the hinge and we had to lift it to open and close it. It's a great place to sleep while doing something in the area but not ideal if your planning on spending a lot of time in the room.

The motel is what you would expect from a Super 8. The rooms are decorated and adorned appropriately and are not necessarily high-brow, but they work. The location is central to the freeway and other main thoroughfares which is nice if you are visiting the area.

The room smelled horribly of smoke, the sheets were not changed, there was hair and crumbs between the sheets! I usually frequent such places as super 8 or motel 6. Motel 6 did not come up on my map, but there is one up the street, it may have been better than this. I won't be returning here again. Just an all around uncomfortable experience. I will say say that the young man at the front desk during check-in was very nice and well mannered.
Also the first, like 6, reviews are shams. Read further down and you will get a more accurate sense of the place.

Wish I had stayed my first night in escondido and the rest of my time there would have been spent at Super 8. that was probably my best experience with a lot of traveling I have done (and that includes other Super 8 hotels). the rooms, recently remodeled I believe, were like a high end hotel, manager honored my request to be placed in quiet location. Will surely come back there when in town!
