Well equipped rooms and very nice service. The breakfast is OK but could be better. Very convenient for a business trip and I would certainly consider it for a family trip too.

This hotel is great. Complimentary breakfast and dinner is a huge plus for business trips. The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly and approachable. The reason this hotel gets 5 stars and not just 4 is that I left an article of clothing in my room after I checked out, and when I called the employee who handled my call was helpful and responsive and shipped it back to me for free! Great place!

My trip is not over yet. I am on a business trip. I am very satisfied with this hotel, its staff and service. Complimentary breakfast and dinner really made my life easy, considering I am totally foreign to this place.

Super nice neighborhood for the hotel - lots of.trees, close the water and quiet area. Wonderful food for free breakfast and dinner some nights! Happy hour!

This hotel was great! We would stay there again for sure. We went with our 9 year old daughter. Breakfast was really good ( hot and cold options available); buffet dinner with beer and wine is served free of charge Monday to Thursday. The staff were absolutely AMAZING. So helpful and friendly. Could not ask for better service! The only possible downside was that the bathroom could use some upgrades. This actually didn't bother us but might put some people off. Otherwise pool was nice and quiet; room cleaning was excellent. Close to everything. Thanks homewood suites del mar!

Nice little property. Very friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast. Pool and back area have plenty of tables and chairs so I was able to smoke my cigar and sip on my scotch out in the shade. Rooms are quiet and clean. We got a large room with a small kitchen area. About 15min away from major theme parks. Would stay here again.

The hotel staff were the best ever. and the was very nice and very clean breakfast was pretty good just wish I could have been there for the dinner that they offer. i will definitely stay here again

Great breakfast. Appropriate respectful, polite staff who attended to service when requested . However, maintenance and attention to detail for amenities is concerning . I'm a businessman over twenty-plus years and a Gold member. This location had a pool that was dirty, filled with multiple gnats , hairs and appearance of an unhealthy condition. As important, the lumpy uncomfortable king-size was bested by a high quality air mattress. These concerns, including quality gym, as compared to recent stay at Four Point Sheraton nearby, are suggestive of low attention to detail. Cost was less with in miles of the same location. This is my first disappointing stay at Homewood Suites. Long-time customer x 20 years. I'm sure these issues could be addressed very quickly. I hope this comment will rest upon Homewood management and rise to their out-standing past reputation.

Very dated hotel. The furniture and lobby feel at least 15 years old, and rooms are dark. The walls are also relatively thin, so if you're facing the pool you can definitely hear it.

While the room was mostly clean, there was cracked and split linoleum in the kitchen and everything needed a fresh coating of grout as all of the edges in the bathtub were blackened with age. I was traveling on business and had colleagues at the Hyatt House just a few miles away which was much more up to date, cleaner, and the same price, while still being an extended stay.

Nice place, breakfast good. Pool nice, helpful staff. Overall i would return. Great location, everything worked, fully equipped kitchen suites. Had pots ans pans, plates, fridge, stove top. I mean you could cook a meal. Room view of the pool just beautiful.

Recommend this place for everyone, single or couple or group. Very clean, spacious rooms and excellent service. Beds are super comfortable. Wifi access is very good. Both breakfast and dinner menus were excellent with lots of choices for adults and kids.

In town for a soccer tournament. Room had a kitchen which was very handy. The Incredible Staff was delightful from Manager to anyone we ran into. All very accommodating to our needs. Greeted us with smiles late at night and had a welcome bag for our kids. Very helpful with places to eat etc. Breakfast was perfect for a "free" with stay meal. Fresh eggs, fruit, cereal, oatmeal and even make your own waffle. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all day. Room was clean.
