This is a clean well kept motel with easy access to the freeway, but to get to activities such as legoland and the beach you will want to drive. Excellent breakfast and great staff. I am giving this a 5 stars for motel service not hotel service.

I was very happy to see that they took our suggestion to heart and set up a nicer area for the smokers. There were three of us in our party of which two are smokers. This made the travelling companions happier. Thank you to the Management and Staff.

Wonderful hotel in a prime location! Very nice staff! The sweet ladies who prepared breakfast made sure there was a highchair for our baby each morning! Breakfast was delicious, a wide variety of foods! We were extremely happy with our stay and no complaints. Will definitely be back!

I wanted to write to you in regards to the employee who works the front desk of the Best Western in Oceanside, located at 1680 Oceanside blvd in Southern California. I believe her name is Rose. She is an awesome person with a very positive attitude. Every interaction with her was refreshing. Customer service, nationwide, throughout most industries is lacking, but Rose restored my faith in customer service. She is very attentive and always has an amazing smile on her face. Whatever she is getting paid, I suggest doubling it. She is a huge asset to Best Western. It is because of her that I will recommend this particular hotel to my friends and family and I will return in the future. I stayed there from September 21st through September 25th. Please ensure Rose is informed of my thoughts on her friendly demeanor and personable attitude.
I loved the continental breakfast, pool, hot tub and the room was great! There is nothing negative to say about this place.

Nice location, quiet even though it's right off the freeway. We were greated by Chris who was very helpful. The full breakfast was very good and the ladies there were busy making sure everything was clean and stocked. The AC was awesome but our room was really small, stuffy and smelled like damp carpet, good thing I always pack a can of room freshener. The bed sheets felt very thin and worn. Other than that our stay was nice.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in San Diego County. The price us a little more than I'm used to spending, but worth every penny. When choosing a Hotel, price is the main determining factor for a single father and full time student, like myself. My first stay was a night that no vacancy had hit Oceanside like a tidal wave. The manager went out of her way to get my kids and myself into a very large single room that happened to be the least nicest room offered by the chain. Clean, quiet, and welcoming were the main feelings throughout our stay. A continental breakfast offered up enough food to feed s small continent and the bacon, eggs and ham were some of the choices. To date I have never found a comparable breakfast in hotels that are under 100$. Booking through Hotel Now entitled me to a savings of nearly 40$ and I am grateful for taking advantage of this memorable stay. Staff are competent, friendly and accommodating. Rooms are modern, extremely spacious and well stocked to meet any need that may arise on a business or personal trip. The neighborhood is mainly residential, allowing for the establishment to provide a quiet, quaint and private stay. If the opportunity arises I strongly recommend you experience this gem.

Customer service was very polite and accommodating. Room was clean and had no odors. Pool & jacuzzi area is average, but inviting. Also has a workout room with gym equipment. They offer a breakfast bar serving eggs, sausage and freshly-made waffles, coffee & juice bar. This is a great stay on a budget. This location is close to the beach & Oceanside downtown attractions & pier. I would recommend this location to a friend.

Great staff..friendly, professional, and so helpful!! Rooms are super clean, housekeeping does a phenomenal job as well as maintenance.. Everyone is respectful!! The grounds are well kept, and the pool and hot tub are clean and we'll maintained. Guest laundry is available on grounds, very helpful!! Walking distance to the pier, Oceanside beach, and many events. About a mile if you don't mind taking a stroll.will always book this hotel while I'm staying in Oceanside.

Best staff! All went above and beyond to make sure my stay was the perfect experience. The entire staff could work at any of the finest hotels in the word, and I've never said that about a reasonably priced hotel.
They are taking bids to get the pool heated, and that is the only thing I would like to see finished. The pool area is immaculate.
I hope to plan a return trip soon, and will definitely stay at the Oceanside Best Western. Best value of any hotel I've stayed at in Southern California in the last 10 years. Wish I had found this place earlier.response / report this review -

This is a awesome Motel with good priced rooms! Very clean and cozy. Great customer service and friendly maids. A very well stocked breakfast in the mornings topped it off.

Rather clean & comfortable. Not as noisy as expected being alongside the very busy interstate 5 corridor. Secondary security outside the actual room doorway is weak. All building access doors were outside the lobby area an and open for access from all parking areas and close to the side street. However cameras were used around the general area although unless the desk personnel is directly monitoring they would not deter access.
