Everytime i visit NY from the Philippines I always stay in an Applecore Hotel. Over the years, I have stayed many times at The Hotel @ Times Square and La Quinta; and over the years too the prices have gone up comparatively for the same season. In my trip in late winter of 2018 i will try out The Hotel @ Lexington. Rates are less expensive. Although the hotel lobby is smaller i am certain it will have the same value for money as in all applecore hotels in Manhattan.

First off, this hotel isn't a Ramada any more, it's under a chain called Applecore, and its name ishold your breath'The Hotel'. Great location, just 2 blocks from metro (line 6) and close to Empire state bldg. Hotel is clean, but a bit dated,l; in need of renovations. Biggest issue was the elevator which was ages old, could hold only 4-5 people at a time and took forever to go up or down (1 min+ from lobby to 10th floor without any stops). Complimentary breakfast was not bad (boxed muffins, toast milk, cereal and boiled eggs), but on some days the items were not replenished and ran out very quickly. Beds were OK, room furniture was clean but old, carpet was worn out, closet smelled musty, bathroom was clean but old. The staff were OK, but unlike other hotel chains they seemed a little less polite. They did their job, but would rarely greet with a smile, never wish good morning/good day or even say hello if you went to the desk for somethinglittle things that make a difference in service. Overall, not a bad hotel but some upgrades and a little better service would make it worth.

The rooms were clean, but when we walked in, the room was very hot. Thankfully it cooled down when we turned the AC on. Bathrooms were nice and towels were provided for us. However, the elevators were broken and the front desk staff was unenthusiastic. The cleaning staff was very attentive though.

Note that this is no longer a Ramada Inn. It's now "the Hotel @ New York City". Only the name has changed. (Hotels change affiliations frequently. It was a Quality Inn before becoming a Ramada.) Staffing and services remain the same. It's a mid-priced tourist hotel, owned by an Indian company, and the manager and front desk staff are Indian. The building is over a century old, and has been extensively renovated, but complaints about things like small bathrooms are a legacy of age. The neighborhood is clean and safe with all amenities close by and the price is reasonable by NYC standards.

The price was right for a Sunday night stay. The room with a queen bed was clean but it seemed a bit small although the bathroom was quite huge and modern. The room was quiet. The bed was good, got a good night sleep. Self-parking is extra but quite reasonable for NY. A pleasant walk to Macy's.

Nice quality room with spacious bathroom, prefect for solo traveler. Firm memory foam bed. Great water pressure.

It's a decent hotel. The room is a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable - well suited for the price we paid. I missed the free Wi-Fi that pretty much every other hotel offers these days and, aside from the bedside outlets that did not work, everything else worked as expected.

Very clean. The rooms are not large, but if you are not planning on having a party in there, they are a comfortable size. Bathrooms are also very clean. Free breakfast was good and the price was great! Convenient location and friendly and helpful staff.
