The one star I give this place is mostly for the one staff member who was as helpful as she could be during my stay there. I only stayed for a few hours through the website dayuse and those 4 hours, while being good, led to about 3-4 days of grief. The room was ok, if not a bit small. Which I'm fine with. Though there was a an extra lip on the floor to the bathroom. Which ment that everytime you went in and left the bathroom you would have a small step that would kinds of trip you up. The elevator was small nut had mirrors in it to kinda of trick you into thinikng it was bigger. After my girlfriend and I had left the hotel I went to check on my debt card just to make sure how much money they took out. I found out that they had charged me about 300 dollars for a 4 hour stay. Dayuse had listed the price at 90 dollars. I went back to speak to someone at the front desk to find out what happened. I was then told that the person who checked me in was very new, barley 2 weeks in and that she booked me for a full night and not the dayuse price. I was also charged for "incedentals" in case the room was messed up or anything. Now I understand paying a security deposit on a room in case such things happen but I was not told this. I was never informed that I was going to be charged a security deposit. And the times I have been, they have told and they have been round numbers. Like 80 or 100 doallers. Not 102.13. Besides this money issue, which which was resolved and I was refunded what was owed to me, the biggest thing that got to me was that everytime I did call I was told only a Manger could change these things but a manager wasn't there. Or, that they were supposed to show at one time and that they show up at sporadically different times. Which I find hard to believe. How do you not have any type of management around? If there are things the front of stuff can't do because they need a manager, why isn't there one on promises all the time? It's basic logic. It's either that or give the front of stuff the ability to do the things they need to do to make the guests happy. So my experience with this hotel has been one of worst I have ever had.

Me and my girlfriend had a great experience here. Front staff were very helpful with directions, AC was cold, 1 block away from the 6 train, which brought us everywhere we needed. Great location, comfortable rooms. Next door is a little dive bar Irish pub. One of the servers was from Ireland and just a delight for the evening. Honestly for the location, this was a great price. Will return

The worst place you can imagine, dirty, noisy, small, and low customer service. You can get way better place with the same amount, they charge approximately $200 per night while we were staying. The staff looks like under paid they are not happy to help you at all, I would recommend to research more and find a better place.

The night clerk treated us af if we were imposters or something. It took her a long time to check us in and we were exhausted after a grueling car trip running away from hurricane irma. Our car was parked in front of the hotel and she told us to take the car around the back for easier access to the room, which turns out was incorrect information. I do not want to think this woman was racially profiling me. But there it is. The room was small and shabby, the pull out bed was decrepit and uncomfortable, the shower head was not working, the bathroom light switch was dangling, and there weren't enough towels. The only good thing was the breakfast and the morning staff. So no, I will never return to this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone.

Location was fine, some staff were great others stunk. Noisy all night, slamming doors talking outside my paper thin door until 230 3am. Tried to call front desk several times and no answer. I thought i could sleep anywhere, apparently not here.

I was so very happy when we checked in at midnight and was greeted warmly by the night auditor ( I am pretty sure her name was Lilly) . The check in was fast , efficient and she was so friendly and informative.

Jan 5 2017 .not good price . Clean???? It Looks cleans Hot water sucks!!! And omg the The toilet is so small you feel like your knees are in your chest when you sit down they use the tiniest toilets in the world they are so cheap in this place ! Bed is WAY TO SOFT ITS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE rooms are extremely small . Room service will not give you any extra pillows !!!? Like wtf. I wouldn't come here ever again!!!!!!! If you're pregnant do not come to this place the heater/AC only works during the day and then breaks at night . N u freeze .. The elevator is always broken or always has a problem. . I am pretty sure they make good money from customers . And cheap with how they furnish!!! most uncomfortable thing about it honestly is just their beds!! If you want to go to sleep go to the mave or anywhere else . Anywhere else even a motel their beds are comfortable real beds not a big pillow !!!!!!! Smh the worst ever damn bed !!

Great location. Rooms are a little small but are functional. Breakfast was pretty good.
