The Radisson hotel has gone through some much needed changes to modernise the hotel, the rooms, and add a great steakhouse. The hotel is directly across from a target, and several resturants within walking distance, "in the Target parking lot" we do the park and fly option where we stay one night in the hotel and leave our car at the hotel for up to 2 weeks. The shuttle to the airport runs frequently and when you check in the give you the phone number to call so that they can pick you up at the airport after you return. We especially love the area because we always pick up needed toiletries at Target and eat at steak and Shake
Hotel was decent. Continuing remodel seems to be improving. Good location for events at Allstate Arena. We were able to walk to the concert we were seeing and also this hotel is near some restaurants which is nice.
Everything was very good, only things I had issue with, were, if the beds were indeed sleep number beds, the remotes should be in a more visible space, otherwise guests will sleep on a bery uncomfortable bed. If they are not sleep number, they are not good beds. Also the balconies were very dirty om the floors. And, its probably too late for this, but I feel like the bathrooms should have better ventilation, or more obvious ventilation.
It's a really nice place. I would recommend it. Only thing that would make it better is if there was a refrigerator in the room.
The hotel was very nice. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff was very attentive & friendly. I will definitely return to this location in the near future.
The worst hotel experience of my life. The hotel is undergoing the sloppiest remodel, with construction debris and walls half painted with sample colors everywhere you look. The front desk attendants were rude at every possible turn. When I asked for a bottle of water from behind the front desk (which was complimentary according to a placard in the room), the front desk person, seemingly annoyed that anyone dare speak to him says, "water is available in the vending machine down the hall". After I explained that according to the placard in my room, bottled water was complementary, he rolled his eyes at me and begrudgingly gave me a bottle from behind the counter. The next morning, I came down for breakfast, but had forgotten the slip of paper admitting me to a free breakfast as a guest of the hotel in my room. I had already checked out, and turn in the keys, so I was unable to return to my room to retrieve it. One of the few people on the staff who wasn't a complete train wreck of a human being was the young woman serving breakfast in the dining room. She advised me to simply ask the front desk to give me another piece of paper, and that she would vouch that she had seen me there before. The gentleman at the front desk (the same one from the water bottle incident) first told me that if I didn't have a slip of paper I would need to pay for breakfast. Once I explained that I was a guest and had simply forgotten it in my room, and that the woman at the breakfast counter said he'd be able to give me another one, he asked for my ID to verify that I was a guest, and then began the process of issuing me a key to go back to my room, stating "you need to go get your breakfast ticket from your room before you can eat". I had about 10 minutes before my shuttle to the airport was leaving, so I told him not to worry about it, that I didn't have time to trek back to my room. I then told the young woman serving breakfast what had happened, and fortunately she was kind enough to allow me to finish my breakfast.
I have to start traveling to Chicago for work every couple of weeks going forward. I will not be staying at this hotel when I return.
The employees are such friendly people and made me feel welcomed and answered any questions we had. The location was perfect it was near so many great restaurants and it wasn't too far from an event I was attattending. A place I truly like and I will continyebto come too.
It was clean, so that was good. The showers are good. Good water pressure. The $11 breakfast was super bland but it was convenient. We had problems with our keys repeatedly not working. Only one of the first two keys worked. Then a couple hours later, they key that had worked decided to quit. Luckily there was a phone right outside our room so calling the front desk was simple. Thing is, the person I spoke with was angry that I was calling and told me that I must be confused because his caller ID said I was calling from a room. I can understand the confusion if the ID says a room number, but he actually said "No sir, you're in your room." At first, they said come down and get a new key. Then they decided to send someone up to us. At this point, my wife found her key. She didn't think she had one on her originally. I called back to the front desk to tell them we got in and not to send anyone up. 10 minutes later, someone knocked on the door. I opened it to see the front desk person with a key. I apologized and told him I had called back with a resolution and that he didn't need to come. He rolled his eyes and sighed as he turned and walked away. I wished him a good night and shut the door. Anyway, I won't be staying again. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good either. To be fair, the breakfast staff was really nice and helpful. I really appreciated them being around. Also, the people that weren't great could have been having a rough day.
This hotel was pretty alright. They are under construction so that was pretty disruptive. The room was clean but the bed was pretty hard. The staff was quite friendly though although things seemed a bit chaotic for them, I assume because of the remodeling. They charge for breakfast which was kinda poopy but I'd say the food was at least better than normal complimentary breakfasts. I got a discount, but as someone with food restrictions it wouldn't have been worth it without that. They did have some miso soup, rice, rice porridge, and various accoutrements so that was pretty cool.
The beds are extremely comfortable and I love the showers. They are so nice and warm. Not too mention the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the workers is lovely.
This is an average hotel airport. The furnishings are getting a little rugged and the rooms are in need of some refurbishing but it's not like people are staying here for anything other than convenience. While they do have a breakfast in the lobby it is not included with the price of the room, there are better options in the terminal which is saying a lot.
Great service. Love how the room is comfy and cozy. Warm blankets. Soft pillows. Like what is offered in room. Free with room no extra charges fod water or coffee. Great location. Great balcony and pool. Could have a fridge and microwave. Every hotel should. Friendly staff. Shuttle. Great restaurant.
