Great place to get furniture or other items for your house. One of the best features in the one hour free child care area. This is a great help to be able to compare and shop without boring your kids to death. The staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever I've had a question about an item. The return policy is generous as well so you don't have to worry if an item just doesn't work out once you get it home.

I only really like IKEA for the experience.. I wish I could put a separate post with 0 stars for how difficult it is to get out of this store. The shortcuts are like finding hidden passages through Narnia. The immediate exit door is usually locked. Very interesting way to keep us in.. don't like it though!

Restaurant had fresh food. Only drove out here for a mattress and we checked upstairs for right one. We were helped by friendly worker. Noticed that some tags on beds had error in pricing. Also once we got downstairs mattress was out of stock. Very disappointed worker upstairs didn’t verify inventory when he was checking computer. I wouldn’t have wasted an extra hr shopping. I will probably only go to Schaumburg location from now on.

This IKEA store is in a convenient location next to several other stores. It is accessible via a local exit off 355. They have all of the items from any other IKEA store and have great staff. Make sure you get the meatballs with potatoes and lingonberry sauce on the side.

This place is great to get everything you need for you house. Its has things that are cheap for the collage kids and then $$$$$ for the graduates that now have a house. they furniture is all Flat box, You have to put it together. but the instructions are easy to follow as long as you don't jump ahead and try to do it yourself. The furniture is well made and looks very nice when setup. they have modern and old styles that you can choose from. The only down side to this store is the size you will take a hour to walk the whole store, or 2 if you stop and look at everything. But the place has great selection and always is always fun on the weekends (if you dare).

Inexpensive furniture and useful house gadgets, storage options, and what not. Lots of great deals. Any furniture you buy 'might' not survive a move. My one stop place for bookshelves. Cafeteria not bad, try the almond cake.

Good store to visit for everything home related. Good lunch options and selection. I removed one star because they store is designed like a maze .. good luck trying to find your way out once you go deep in the store. I guess this is a way to get you to buy more..

Standard IKEA store. Low prices but self assembly on functional furniture. Required path takes you through entire store to exit. This one is only two stories tall. Easy access from I 355 and close to Stevenson.

This IKEA store was amazing! It was so simple to go through the store and pick out what I wanted to get! I really recommend this store if you are a collage student shopping for some things in your new home or dorm. IKEA can seem ubiquitous in our lives, but I think that is a great thing!

IKEA stores are huge! So plan to spend some extra time here. I see many families make a day of their visit, stopping for lunch at the cafe or for a quick bite at the hot dog and pizza counter near the exit.

Prices are great for household items and furniture. It's easy to become inspired by IKEA's room designs. Many people purchase the 84in curtains and fabrics because of the low cost and lovely designs. There are how to videos online regarding tailoring the curtains. There's just so much to see!

There is even a play area for children near the entrance. The cafe has delicious food. Of course, their meatballs are the best, but the ribs are very good, too.

Many college students shop here for affordable dorm essentials. I have purchased several duvets (never before in my life!)and have been very satisfied with the quality. Likewise for the bed pillows and sofa pillows.

    Nice place to shop.

Great location. Fun place to shop. Cheap eats there too. Don't expect this to be a quick shopping experience. If you are in a hurry to buy something specific you better know the store floor plan really well. Sometimes it is hard to find a store associate for help. Fun and practical items to choose from. Good prices.

Very disappointed in you IKEA. I'm trying to give you money by purchasing 2 household's worth of knickknacks but your cashier at the credit/debit card line on the main level said you don't take chips w/ credit cards. I purchased food at your restaurant upstairs and you were able to do the transactions WITH A CHIP READER THERE. I asked if there was another line or customer service area that could ring me up. I even said you can manually enter the credit card number. Your answer was no to both. Your manager said the same thing. Get your act together and make up your mind if your going use a chip reader or not! Small mom and pop shops got those to PROTECT AGAINST FRAUD CHARGES AND ID THEFT! You just lost my business.

This company is terrible, they made me go up and down from one floor to another looking for the item numbers. So I did that because there was nobody in the section that could help me. I went from one floor to another searching for the item numbers. They checked me out made me pay and then go setup for home delivery. I paid, then setup for home delivery now I have spent three hours at this location only to find out that they didn't even have the item that they made me pay for. So then they tell me to go to another location and order the item and they would include it on the same delivery. So I do just that, I drive clear on the otherside of Chicago to get the items that I need only for them to make me wait for another two hours to tell me that they cannot deliver it for another two weeks. So I tell that that I want to just cancel the whole order. So then they convince me that they will get it to me on the same order. So I, thinking that a company this large is reputable and will stand behind their word, I agreed. Well here comes the delivery company at 3:45 PM after saying that I need to wait for them between 9:00 am and 1:00 PM. Guess what? The items are wrong. So I call IKEA and all they can say after I have wasted 13.5 Hours of my life trying to get something from them. Nothing we can do. So I tell them to come pick up the stuff and that I don't want it, since they can't deliver the correct items. They said that I have to store the items until they can come pick them up. Terrible Customer Service, A Waste of My Time. I definitely do not recommend them.

Love there As-Is department, that is our first stop at the store after we drop off the kids at the play area( which is kids favorite place at the store in addition to the restaurant upstairs). It is hard to leave the store empty-handed, even if it is just one small item like a candle or a pack of colorful straws or just an ice cream cone! I would live there if I could!:)

Really like coming here and looking at all of the styles. Products seem to be high quality for the price you pay. While they have a lot of options for the assemble-it-yourself furniture they also have some good things on other home decor and utensil type things Its definitely worth browsing through just to see what they have if you want something to do a free afternoon.
