Great rates. Convenient location and easy access from road. The rooms have been recently renovated. The building itself is older with all exterior rooms. There's a courtyard and outdoor pool available. This property also has a grill and bar onsite. I believe it's only open on the weekends though (I could be wrong). Staff was very nice and helpful. I would stay again.

Nice place to stay! Has a B rating but I do not know why. Our room was nice except the red satin thing they lay across the bed was dirty. Everything else was fine.

More bang for your buck. Older, upgraded motel with very nice staff, comfy beds and pillows, breakfast is adequate, staff is very friendly and accommodating. We stay here for Demon Deacon football and basketball games. Good location, easy access to the stadium, campus, Hanes mall and I-40.

I reserved a smoking room online and the next day, my Mom called the motel requesting a room close to mine and smoking as well. When we got there, the front desk clerk told us that there is a glitch in the on-line booking even though it was not through a third party, it was their website. So we were forced to take non-smoking rooms because we could not get a refund. I finally drug all the luggage up to rooms 205 (mine) and 207 (Moms). We then went out to dine before getting some rest. We arrived back to the rooms and I opened my door, but my Moms would not. The chrome square safety latch had somehow gotten tripped when she left her room. I called the front desk and told Alex what happened. He was very rude and immediately said that they would have to bust the door down and it would cost $350.00. I told him that this was not our fault and we are not paying that kind of money for their latch malfunction. He said he would be up in a minute. He came up and took a look and said the same thing about paying. At which point, I raised my voice and said that we are not going to pay for something that was not our fault. He stood there and basically called us liars. I could not believe that we were being treated this way. My 70 year old Mother almost fell down on the concrete from an anxiety attack. Alex walked away with an attitude and just left with his poor attitude. Thank God for the security guard Nino who saw our problem. He came back with a tool and got into Mom's room and apologized for what Alex had said and done to us. When we got back into Mom's room, I noticed that I had a typical type safety latch and hers was completely different. Hers was a chrome rectangle built into the door frame. So for the duration of our stay, we unlatched the adjoining room doors so if this happened again, we could access her room through mine. I have got to say that was the rudest I have ever been treated by anybody in the customer service business. I want to express my gratitude to Nino, without him to save the day, my Mom might have ended up in the hospital with a nervous breakdown. I will never stay there again!

We came in a little bit late but they man is to have a room available for us. The room was clean, but the door didn't shut quite all the way. However, they have free breakfast in the morning and that when we checked out, the person at the desk was super nice and very calm. It felt like home. We will go here again if we need to.

*While this is NOT a four star hotel, our experience was "four star" for this two star hotel.
It's a Quality Inn, basic and comfortable. Rooms were clean but small, beds were comfortable, breakfast was typical continental fair. Bed linens were updated and all our needs were met. The facility itself is rather dated, but it is a well kept and very clean property from what we saw. The front desk, maintance, security, and breakfast staff were all very friendly. I wouldn't have wanted to stay here a week but it was a great stop over option.
We stayed here the night of 8/31/17.

This was one of the best stays I've had in a choice hotel and I stay with them often. They're always good, but this one was even better than others. All staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was quite good for a hotel breakfast. The only issue I had at all was the AC was making a kind of high pitched squeal, but it wasn't unbearable. We still slept through the night. Upon checkout, I was asked if everything was ok and I mentioned the AC. The clerk was about to make a note of it, and the manager was right there and wrote it down to have it checked, apologized for the problem, and thanked me for letting them know about it. While we were only there one night and didn't have much time at the actual hotel, since we attended an event, I noticed the grounds were also inviting, with a nice outdoor pool, and a small courtyard that was nice too. We will definitely stay here again if we're back in the area. Thank you for the great stay!

Good, our door didn't close all the way letting warm air in all night. Other wise the room was fine.

Not terrible in a pinch (and I was), but I'm not fond a motels with individual room access from the outside. The bathroom floor was sticky and the room had a little stink to it. Bed and pillows were comfortable, but I was exhausted, so anything probably would have been good.

I really wasn't expecting much for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised.😊 Thomas at the front desk was amazing, he even fixed my tablet for me. We stayed four nights in a very clean and comfortable room. I needed a handicapped bathroom and the one there is great, perfect actually. Quality Inn is where I will stay each visit to Winston.
