Good spot to bring the kids. Really unique experience going up the tower. Steps are not for the weak hearted and whatever you do dont look down! Amazing view when you reach the top. Marine science center is just a stroll away which is s good

the tallest light house in Florida and only $6.95 name something in Florida that you can do for $7 you can’t even drive on to the beach for that price I went to the St. Augustine lighthouse and they tried charging me 12.95. It’s a light house. The Ponce inlet lighthouse and museum has 8 museums and the 203 steps to the top of there light house. Anyone can do it as long as you take your time. There gift shop by far the best in town. So much to choose from. Real friendly service and I enjoyed my 3 hours there. If you love history this is the place for you!! 5/5 will definitely return

The history here is very cool. I would recommend for a family date. I think kids would enjoy looking at it, but might enjoy the park connected to it.
Bring a lunch to enjoy the beach and the park. We we ether during the parade, which added to it's awesomeness since there were so many others outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather.response / report this review -

Great place and a lighthouse in great shape. You can even climb it and its one of the tallest once in the US. There are a lot of exhibits around the lighthouse as well to showcase what is was like to live here and operate the lighthouse. Staff is super friendly. Prices are decent and I actually expected it to be more expensive. Overall a great place to see. From top of the lighthouse you have a great view all the way around the inlet. Marvelous!

We stopped here while on vacation. The complex was really impressive. There is a nice little museum on the property. I enjoyed all of the displays. They are very informative. Being from the western United States it was all new and exciting to us. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. There is a gift store there. The staff at the store was very informative, helpful and friendly. This would be a great place to bring children. When in the area next time we will definitely comeback. Really liked this place.

Definitely a must when visiting this area!
It has so much to offer for a VERY reasonable entrance fee ($14.00 for 2 adults). There are multiple buildings to explore and you can walk all the way to top and walk out on the platform to quite the view! The gift shop has to many amazing things to pick from, also VERY reasonable prices for a gift shopresponse / report this review -

Fun and great family adventure! The climb to the top of the lighthouse is definitely a workout and very hot. The views are definitely worth it! Also some museum exhibits that were interesting. Worth doing once

Interesting museums dedicated to the Ponce lighthouse. The lighthouse is open to climb if you're in fair shape or better. 203 steps I believe but maybe not that many. Good eating really close by as well as parasailing and gift shops.

Awesome day trip from Orlando! I couldn't have picked a more fun inexpensive experience for my birthday weekend! The gift shop is really nice! So much to see and lots of history to read about. You can't bring water bottles on the property! But they do have water fountains and the staff is very cordial. The view from the top of the lighthouse is everything I'd hope it would be. :)

Great place to visit with the kids! Inexpensive, historical, and perfect for taking pics. Naturally, the stairs are very steep and you probably need to be fairly healthy before attempting the climb. In fact, my husband has bad knees and a bad back, so he stayed in the car. It wasn't overly crowded when we went and the people were all very courteous. Because of the narrow stairwell, people going up tend to stop on the landings to allow people coming down to pass by and vice versa. Not only does this allow you to feel safer, it also gives you a chance to catch your breath (which I needed). Upon reaching the top, you are rewarded with gorgeous views and a refreshing breeze. We were there just before sunset and it was incredible! I'm not particularly find of heights, but the top of the lighthouse has a fence enclosing it. Not enough to obstruct your view, but enough to allow me to feel comfortable and not be terrified. I would definitely do it again!

I was visiting this lighthouse long before it became a major tourist attraction in Ponce Inlet, and I have seen it improve drastically over the years. It's great not seeing graffiti all over the walls and the yard well maintained. I was climbing those old steps in this wonderful lighthouse before anyone really knew it existed. 'Take a tour to the top' signs were posted all over Daytona Beach, though I do not know if they are now. This is my favorite place to go in all of Florida, and I enjoy knowing I believed the lighthouse was cool before the rest of the world did . - From Anchorage, Alaska

Great museum about the history of this lighthouse, lighthouses in general, and the history of the area. Wonderfully interesting display of different lights of varying sizes used in lighthouses. Family members reported beautiful views from the top of the lighthouse. Fun gift shop. Felt it was well worth the price of admission.

Our trip up the lighthouse was a little rushed because of a storm approachingwe were the last ones up before it was closed due to weather, so we didn't get to spend much time at the top but it was still worth it and enjoyable. The museum part I would liked to have spent more time but the kids weren't as interested in the history as I was. It is very well restored and maintained. Worth the trip for sure.

If you are into great historical sites this one should be considered. The view from the top of the lighthouse is great and they have a lot of really amazing restored lenses on display.

Very beautiful with a nice view on the surrounding are when you are on top of the tower. The climb is not that bad and definitely worth checking out. They did a great job restoring it to look like in the old days.
