They NEVER answer the phone. It has taken me over 2 months to get enrolled into this school. Different financial advisors tell me to do certain forms, and other ones say those forms are waived. They can't even pull up my information by my student I.D. number. The financial aid department is very unhelpful and unorganized. When you do reach someone on a call, nothing is accomplished. They will tell you that you have no holds on your student account, and then leave the holds on your actual account. What the hell is going on with this school.

The customer service is atrocious, I called to get some info on signing up for the next semester at 2:30 11/20/17 and I asked a few questions and the response was "I don't know what to tell you". This cannot be serious, I'm still in disbelief. Once you're in the school its decent. I can't speak for the people in the classrooms but the hands on lab work is the way to go.

Terrible, Do you enjoy paying for classes with teachers that don't teach, that just assign book work? Do you enjoy professors who would be better off teaching high school? I honestly don't know what I'm paying for here and can't wait to leave and never give them another dime again. WASTE OF MONEY. I haven't had one good teacher. I haven't had one good class. They all suck. The teachers need to teach. The website is terrible. I can't think of something more wasteful than paying for classes with no teachers. The teachers need to learn how to teach, not just be good at a subject, which they aren't.. Terrible school please don't go here. It's an excuse for people who want to say they are in school. I've learned pretty much everything I needed to learn for these classes on YouTube for free with better professors who actually answer my questions. For FREE. Don't give me that be happy you're in school bs this is not school. Someone who can't afford school could get a better education for free than paying to go here.

My enrollment took 4 months to complete when it should have only taken a week or two I was told I was reviewing a full grant that would cover tuition, books, plus more throughout the 4 months I was enrolling. My transcripts I had transferred got lost and it took DSC a week to figure out where they went and took another week for them to go into the system. Because they lost my transcripts, I was unable to enroll in classes and had to wait another two months for the next semester. Two days before my classes were supposed to begin, they told me I wasn’t receiving any financial aid at all with no sympathy for the lies they have been feeding me and told me to apply for a loan instead, but I can’t afford any more loans and they shrugged their shoulders with no response. No one ever responds to my emails and I can never get through to someone when I call. They have too many campuses and students that they can not stay organized or help a student properly. I wish I found out much sooner that they were feeding me lies about my financial aid status so I could have been doing something more useful with my time and education.

Now I have to leave 50 minutes earlier rather than 15, all because of parking. Great job DSC! Not to mention how your finical aid works and student accounts, but they suck big time. 2/5

Will be conservative and give the college the benefit of a doubt. It is a community college after all. My experience has been great in my day to day classes but trying to get things like financial aid and dealing with veteran services has been an absolute nightmare. My classes get dropped if I don't run back and forth between the Veteran Office and the computer room (where I always have to wait an hour to speak with someone), simply because they can't communicate with each other and expect me to do it for them! I've had to deal with this all 4 semesters I've gone to this college.

Combine this with the awful second-rate service you get from the asc staff to the security office, who wouldnt even keep an eye on my truck when the window broke and I couldn't role it up.

The positives? The professors (Most of them) are seriously unexpected. You'd never think you were at a community college with how great some of the professor you get are. Also the fact that my study (music tech) gets it's own fancy building is pretty sweet. So my recommendation is 50/50, if you can deal with the awful initiation then the payoff is well worth it.

Oh and for some reason you have to pay for graduation which is some next level retardation, but yeah.

Veterans beware!!! They will screw you over! This is my third semester in a row where I've been dropped from my classes due to non payment because the college has lost my paperwork. Every time I have to drive up there to show them the pink paper saying I've turned it in absolutely the worse college I've been to.

I usually don't write reviews, but this has been a nightmare. I don't understand how I can be calling an office since 9:30 in the morning and still have been unable to actually talk to someone.

The Admissions Office Staff is the Biggest Group of Incompetent Idiots I have ever come across. They are uninformed of their own policies and requirements. I hope the college experience isn't as bad as their customer service because I may be spending my money elsewhere. (Particularly to a young lady who answered the phone today at around 10:am with absolutely no idea what she was talking about.)

Worst School! Went there for a day and was never refunded my money for classes I never took even after I withdrew from them. Communication there sucks, no respect and never will be recommended.

After pushing through my AA degree I changed schools to an online University because I would rather pay a little more money and take classes online then have to deal with the staff at DSC.
what operator when you call and ask to speak with the records division asks "and what regards do you need to speak with them for?" And then you tell them you need a transript transfered they tell you "you need to do it online." I told her if they made their online site easier to navigate through I would have no problem and wouldn't be calling. She then proceeds to tell me "I will transfer you but they will just tell you the same thing I just did." Well I must say I don't really care what the OPERATOR has to say and if a department is just going to tell me to do it online and figure it out myself. That already speaks volumes for their efforts as a school. And after all that I get no answer and have to leave a voice mail which I will probably get no call back for
Classes and teachers where really great, but the office staff totally ruined it for me and as a former teacher I can say that really sucks for all the teachers there that try really hard.
