Very tranquil place for a nice quiet hike, somewhat secluded, which made me a bit erry of my surroundings. Great place to get some nature photos

Great riverside campground and river entrance state park. Clean, well-managed. Paved boat ramp and store on property. Also much local history, including Indian history. Good trails, but short. Lots of riverfront throughout the park.

Great park to hike in plus it's on a beautiful waterway. However be advised that the park in INFESTED with TICKS. Check your dogs and your self after your visit. There were multiple ticks on my dog. Found two on myself as well.

This is a beautiful state park with a great campground. They offer boat tours along the Tomoka River, boat and kayak rentals and lots of fishing. The facilities in the park and campground are clean and well kept. The staff is all very friendly and helpful.

Great place to spend a quiet afternoon. Saw armadillo on the trail, birds by the river and lots of fish making splashes on the water. Waited for the sun to set. Also liked the statue of Chief Tomoka. The park ranger was very nice and helpful. The outpost was closed when we got there so we couldn't rent a kayak. But it was still a great afternoon. Make sure to bring bug spray / mosquito repellent. I wish I did:)

Quiet park at night. Dirt roads that need some work. Some spaces very close together, small and difficult to back into with anything other than small rig. I would visit again but call ahead and ask for big site numbers.

Truly a beautiful park. When I arrived, as my foot touched the ground I felt a terrifying history. I saw red faces in my mind's eye struggling after a millennia prosperity. The history runs deep in this land and the vibrations creep into dreams if you are sensitive. The water is beautiful, the manatees are plentiful and playful at the shoreline. The park is worth the trip for sure. Folklore speaks of magic cups, pink clouds and balls of light. I did not see any of that this trip :)

If you are in a camper any bigger than a small tent you will be disappointed. You will barely be able to fit. They are not gravel sites. Pure sand and very small. Shower and bathrooms are not well maintained. It's just bad. Nothing good about it at all.

I love the state parks. This was was very clean and well taken care of. Drive in camping is what it is, but this place does it well. Its close to home so I'll be here again for sure!

We were here on a day trip visit. Camping sites are available and appear to be the most common use of this park. There were also people riding their bicycles in the park rather happily period appears to be a good place to fish although I am unsure how safe that is due to the alligator warning signs posted all over the place. I don't know. I guess you take your chances when you are in Florida. For a drive through the park it appears quite small. There is a fee to enter. Park is pet friendly.

This park has so many areas to it with plenty of parking, restrooms, camping, small store, and even kayak& canoe rentals available. We saw manatee swimming today and lots of different sea life/wild life. This is a relaxing and fun way to spend time with the family.

This is a great park close to home. Great little getaway with the family without travelling far. Park is kept pretty clean. Good fishing and has a little shop on site. Campsites are good size and have water and electric hookup. Generally not a ton of riff-raff there too which is nice.
