They obviously use their money to pay people to write good reviews for them, instead of doing good business. Took in the newest model XL1 bat to trade because it was too big for my son. This bat currently sells for 300-400$ new. We were willing to trade straight up for a smaller demirini that was 3 years old and worth a lot less new or used than our bat. They were selling it for 74$. The genius behind the counter was offering 40$ in store credit towards the bat. I laughed and walked out. Went to the Hilliard store and traded for a better, newer bat, which was priced at 119$. Somy bat was worth 40$ in Grove City, but 119$ in Hilliard. Grove city is a joke, don't waste your time. Hilliard is only 10 minutes down the road.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I have bought and sold here and I will continue to do so. They offered decent prices for what I was selling. Over all I have had a good experience here.

I went to to Play in Again Sports in the second week of December 2015.
I asked the person in charge of buying (the owner I assume) if he was buying used softballs. I told him I had about 70 softballs that were older model (white softballs) used for slow pitch and had some new still in packaging.
He said he would buy the softballs, and it didn't matter if they were older model, people were going to be using them for batting practice anyway and would give me an average of .50 a ball. He also informed me that I would get more if I brought them in during the season and even more if I took a store credit.
I took them in again, Feb. 13, 2016 and his story totally changed. I would get .25 a ball, and .50 for the new ones. I looked at the softballs that they were currently selling: they were selling very used white softballs for $1.50 and yellow ones for $2.00. The quality of many of the softballs that I brought in was better than a lot of the ones they were selling for $1.50. Many were only used for a couple of games. He said they could only give me .25 since they were white and don't sell as well. Not only didn't I get .50 a ball, I could've got in December, I got less money for the balls, not more as promised, since they were in season.
From their website: Typically we will resell our used items for about 40-60% of what they would sell for new today. You would receive 30-50% of that amount depending on demand, condition and current inventory levels of like products. The 200-300% seems very fair; I get that they need to make money in order to stay in business.
50% of $1.50 is .75 and 30% of $1.50 is .50. How is .25 a ball even close to .50 to .75 a ball? If I'd had known he would change his tune, I would have saved a lot of hassle of moving them again and sold them in December. At least then, he would have been accountable to his word. Now he can deny everything he said in December.
Customer gets .50 a ball for balls that sell for $2.00, and gets .25 a ball for balls that sells for $1.50 (These numbers aren't the 30 to 50% stated on the website, but 16%; they marked the balls up 600%.)
LESSONS LEARNED:
Don't wait to sell if you're counting on getting the quoted price.
Don't bring a lot of the same product, because they'll give you less per item.
My impression of the owner in December was "wow, what a nice amiable guy, easy to talk to." My impression of him in February is "What a liar."response / report this review -

Great place to shop for sports that require a lot of expensive equipment. Since everything here is used, the prices are a little cheaper.
