Been in the ER for 3 hours already and have not yet seen a doctor or a nurse. After being told we are 'on the fast track', we were just called back from the waiting room 30 minutes ago and were put in a room to wait some more. To make it worse, we can overhear the nurses station - one of them just jokingly said "somebody's gonna die tonight!" That is NOT something to joke about - ESPECIALLY IN AN EMERGENCY ROOM!! There is zero accountability or concern for patients. There is no excuse for the lack of professionalism and empathy from the staff. Even if it is the middle of the night, this is what emergency rooms are for! Things happen and people need medical attention at all hours of the day. If you are unfit to care for them, then you should not be working in a hospital.
If I could give a -67 I definitely would. This place is horrible. I had surgery here against my likes but my doctor only has surgery privileges here. After surgery I swear they tried to kill me. In recovery my blood pressure started to rapidly fall and my heart rate rapidly raised ( mind you I'm watching all this). As the nurse notices this they state that I'm going to need a emergency blood transfusion stat. The nurse starts to panic because she doesn't know how to get through the computer software to order the blood, her and her colleague start talking over me in their foreign language doing nothing, all the time I'm watching my blood pressure dropping . The surgery room doctor ( not my doctor)comes in after another nurse from other department comes and work computer and gets the blood, and hangs the blood all the time telling me and I quote, " I know what the problem was, you loss 800cc of blood during surgery and I knew we should of given you blood during surgery but we didn't ". 6hrs in recovery with the nurses not even cutting my leg pumps ( that prevents blood clots)on and my blood pressure dropping below 70/50 I finally get to room when admitting nurse finds betadine pads with the wrapping left in my private area. I was LIVID, PISSED, MAD AS HELL all in. I recommend that no one ever goes here. They are unprofessional, clueless and dangerous. I personally worked at this facility for 12yrs so I knew of all the horror stories and inconsistencies but I never imagined
.. I will forever tell my story and let everyone know how horrible they are as for the next 3 mos I have to do an iron regime because of their stupidity.
P.s. these concerns were just a few of many issues I had with my stay.
.
Inconsistent diagnosis. We were given at least 3 diagnoses in a 4 week period. All while my grandfather got worse. Ants were in 3 of the rooms he was in. The doctors acted agitated when you ask questions. Hospital was dirty. I do not recommend this hospital. Grandfather was passing and they would not allow his grandson to visit. Grandfather had soiled himself and the nurse refused to change him she said she was going to break in 10 minutes so she would change him when she finished.
Been here since 12pm now 220 am. Still waiting to see the doctor. On count they let 24 people in to see the doctor. Wife has a 100.9 temp. These idiots will not help you. I would rather go to Kaiser. At least they will cater to the White people too. 5:22am all they said is that my wife has a bad tooth. Some crap.8 am. A whole 8 hrs this place NEEDS a lot of attention.
Been here since 8:22pm. Yes seen within the 96 min wait time as stated on their website, but just for blood and urine samples. Then they send you BACK to the main waiting area where you sit for hours. Only about 8 people here and this is still the wait. They haven't called anyone back to see an actual doctor in over an HOUR!!! 96 min wait time is a lie!
Called back into room at 11:22pm. WaitingTotal time almost 7 hours. Left at 2:50am out the door.
POSITIVES: Thorough examination. Staff in the back were super nice! Made my wait just a little better. Registration staff up front not so personable at all
