I wish I had seen the HORRIBLE REVIEWS on this hospital BEFORE I brought my wife here! If I could've given them a NEGATIVE 5 stars rating I would've! I brought my wife in at 9 pm bleeding with chest pains to the ER- It's now 4:40 am, and she STILL HAS NOT SEEN A DOCTOR! I'm surprised people haven't died waiting to be seen! This is the worst hospital I have ever been to next to Grady! Customer service DOES NOT EXIST! We're going to have to go to another hospital, after wasting a whole night, to start this whole process over! I PRAY EVERYONE SEES THIS WARNING BEFORE BRINGING ANYONE HERE FOR MEDICAL ATTENTION: FOR YOUR SAKE- GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

I Love this Hospital 💜 I spent 7 days hospitalized here for many complications in my pregnancy. Everyone I met was so kind and performed my two surgeries flawlessly. They were amazing with my newborn. Very Positive Experience by my family and I !

There seems to be a lot of negative experiences with the ER, but if anyone is looking for a review on the labor and delivery unit and the women's clinic, I think you'll find yourself pleasantly surprised. I just had a baby here and loved all the staff. The nurses are so friendly and helpful and really care about your needs. Everyone is very professional yet kind. I loved my experience here!

Don't take your family here if you have an emergency. My aunt was taken to the ER on Friday night because she was having slurred speeches and her hands tensed up and she couldn't move. The staff thought she was faking it and were taking bets on how long she could keep it up. She had a major stroke the next day and then they airlifted her to Grady. Grady couldn't do anything by the time she arrived and passed away. She was 49 years old. They could have saved her but they were too busy fooling around. If you're in Clayton County, take your family to Piedmont in Henry County or Grady Memorial in Atlanta. Avoid Southern Regional!!

I recently had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound at Southern Regional Medical Center. My experience was very positive. Everyone I interacted with was kind and courteous. Everything was explained to me before any procedures were performed. I was kept up to date about "behind the scenes" conversations and processes.

I was also referred for a breast biopsy. I went to the women's imaging center at Spivey Station for this. This facility is also part of Southern Regional Medical Center. Luckily, I ended up not needing the biopsy after further ultrasound viewing. Everyone I interacted with was nice, helpful, and patient with me.

I know there are some negative experiences posted about Southern Regional Medical Center, but my experience was nothing but positive.

If I couldgive this place ZERO stars I would. This has been the WORSE experience I have EVER had at a hospital. We checked in here at ER at 10:00PM for a car accident and it is now 6:13 AM and we have YET to be seen by a physician. This hospital should be CLOSED and never reopened. From the nurses to the triage the entire experience is a MESS. I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to this hospital. Not even for a broken nail. Having ONE doctor in ER is totally. unacceptable.

Thank you guys for helping me out I was in agony. Everyone in the waiting room got seen within an hour. I saw the review about them not want to help black or elderly people but the doctor I saw was black and he was a nice guy.

Worst nurses on the 3rd floor! Hat's off to ONE special nurse! I was released with out med's needs. Told by a nurse this was a "courtesy". This one nurse even after CVS called she requested I come in and have the prescription re-written! Horrible.

Only ONE nurse was AWESOME!!

The worest hospital I have every been too. I have been sitting waiting for 12hrs. Let me just let you know I'm a RN. Came in with all my labs done. So I have to be at work early. I finally said, enough is enough, I'm going to go. Let Me just ask the receptionist for work excuse. She said NO, because I haven't seen the doctor. Smh this would of never happen at the north side of Atlanta.

Read Reviews About This Hospital But Still Decided To Take My Chances. Sat Here From 5 Until 10 . Asked How Much Longer And Everyone Was Acting Like They Had No Clue What Was Going On. Will Never Visit This Hospital Again. They Truly Need To Be Shut Down.

Unfortunately I've been here since 10a.M.. It's now 3:30 p.m. I've been in chronic pain and have not yet been seen. What I can't understand is they are so quick to get your billing information (within first thirty mins) but are so slow to helping the people. It's fustrasting that we pay so much money in medical bills but get service like we are trying to get a handout. I pay my own medical bills with no insurance so why do I have to sit in the ER for several hours..Never coming here again.!

REALLY NO STARS THIS PLACE SUCKS AND NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. I CAME IM WITH CHEST PAINS AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH AT 930PM IT IS NOW 4AM..I AM STILL EXPERIENCING CHEST PAIN WHILE STILL SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM YES YOU HEARD RIGHT SHORTNESS OF BREATH AND CHEST PAINS AND I AM STILL SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM. MY HUSBAND SPOKE WITH VERONICA AT THE COUNTER ABOUT THE WAIT SHE STATED "SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW LONG IT WOULD BE AND THAT THEY WERE ON STAND BYE THIS WAS AT 130AM.
AT 230 MY HUSBAND AND I ASKED FOR A DR OR SUP AND WAS DIRECTED TO THE CHARGE NURSE JOEJOE GAVE SOME EXCUSE ABOUT THE ROOMS BEING FULL, AND WHEN I STATED THAT WE HAVE WATCHED THE WAITING ROOM FILL AND EMPTY ON VARIOUS OCCASIONS HE TRIED TO FEED US SOME BS ABOUT FAST TRACKHELLO CHEST PAIN HERE.UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BSU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Worst hospital I've ever been to! I was there for literally 5 or more hours waiting in the ER to be called but never was and the employees seemed so rude and dry. You can easily tell they didn't care about anything that was going on. Never going there again!!

The staff at Southern Regional was awesome during my stay. Every one from pre op to the day I was discharged had a great attitude. Although this hospital has some bad reviews, I just want to say that I am very appreciative of everything that was done for me. A kind heart goes a long way. Thank you for being so warm and welcoming.

Wow this hospital has poor ratings unfortunately i never been to the other side so I can't talk for that side but if you go the women's center, it is so nice and so old school looking lol . If you are pregnant, they will treat you right and you will be seen immediately. The fastest service I have ever received from any hospital. The nurses are very sweet and nice and to be honest , this hospital has professional African American workers . If you go to Grady you will deal with attitudes and poor service . I was very happy with my service here . After doing a little bit more research on their OB doctors, I might consider giving birth here since I am looking for a new doctor at the moment
