Worst experience ever. I saw the used vehicle I wanted online and walked in expecting to purchase it. They gave me a hard time about it and then charged me way over the price that they had it listed for. My vehicle went into the service dept. shortly after the purchase for a problem shifting. They gave me nothing but problems from the start and didn't want to own up to the warranty on the SUV. After contacting lawyer, they finally negotiated and I received a new transmission from an outside dealership. Horrible Service, professionalism, and honestly they don't need to be in business if they continue to treat customers the way they do.
I take my car to dealership on time for regular servicing so they can alert me to problems before they happen. I use OnStar diagnostics for the same reason. I had to replace both rotors on the rear brakes because they apparently didn't check properly last visit. I love my GMC and I'm at end of my lease, but this $700 screwup will mean I will not be getting a new GMC. My concerns about this was not addressed, total unconcerned even after brought to the attention of Service Manager and Sales.
I took my beloved 2004 Gran Prix in for a Leaking Steering Rack they discovered while fixing head/gasket cover, under recall program. I declined the service initially but went back after it was discovered their pricing very comparable and I was informed to check their website for a 15% coupon. The car's promised time was exceeded and the money saved appreciated. Still a loyal customer even after the dealership transformed itself.
Terrible service department. Took car in for squeaking noise and was charged $390 for front brakes and rotors. Although it was too expensive I just wanted the squeaking to stop. Well it didn't, the exact noise remained unchanged. Had to take more time off work to take it back which they still couldn't figure it out. A day later I received a phone call saying your back brakes need replaced, $400 more. Funny since I was told when they did my front that the back were fine. At that point I said no too much money. Magically they then mentioned a coupon. Where was this coupon a few days ago?? I wound up doing my brakes for $113 myself. They also replaced a tail light with a obviously broken one and somehow this was not caught. After bringing the car home I noticed it and called immediately and had to bring the car back so they could look at it. Yep broken and not sure how that happened, we'll get another one ordered. No apologies no nothing. I then had to make another trip, missing more work. By the way when I removed the rear tires the problem with the rotors was obvious and I'm no mechanic. I believe there was also a charge to take of tires and inspect brakes which couldn't have been done. For them to take that long to figure out is not acceptable. If you need service done to your vehicle do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
I purchased a used vehicle from Pete Baur Buick GMC recently. Overall the transaction was very smooth and everyone at the dealership was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There was an issue with my car after pulling it off the lot and the manager was very responsive and willing to fix the issue immediately. I appreciate the professional nature of the business.
