We waited for over an hour for our food. Apparently there was a crisis on the kitchen. She never said anything to us until we asked and then she said the cook left while cooking our dinner.?!?! Also, as i said there is no one here and they "ran out of tall glasses", they made it fine by giving me two pints at the same cost. Manager Charly came out and was incredibly respectful and took care of us. If it was not for Charly this would have been a hard 1 star.
When we walked in, the 4 of us We were a bit worried. No one was in the place. But it was clean, and being from the bar business and loving food more than life this speaks volumes about the place. We sat down to a fresh bartender, brand new of less than a week. She was sweet as pie. This chef He is amazing. I am a horrible foodie, and I don't do alot of reviews but I got the scotch egg and mussels as an app. So ridiculously delicious. We also got the caprese burger I don't have words how perfect it was cooked to temp at medium as asked along with this chef's own ingredients making the burger just pop. My friends for the bacon burger and they get theirs a bit more done, and they also couldn't stop bragging. This dinner made our night. Thank you and we will be back.
Excellent service, food and the bartender was superior:)))) Would recommend to anyone
The '' Danny Boy" was amazing! The "3D Corned Beef" was so tender. Super yummy chips. Great value for the price. Staff was super friendly.
Good service, fairly quiet. Nice place to relax and get a drink. Could use a larger on tap beer selection.
They are good people and there are good 👍 food
Food was sub par for the new years event. The steak I got was 85 percent fat and only a few bites edible. Green beans were also undercooked. I don't see myself going back there ever.
Attentive people. Creative menu. Good presentation. I love different and not hurried. Shows me my plate was not premade.
Not open on November 15 2016 at 1600hrs.
Really wanted to try it. Live in the neighborhood and wanted to see the changes.
Maybe next time.
We were in the area when hungry but without a particular destination in mind. Thanks to Google Maps Akron City Tavern popped up. The online menu and reviews were promising so we decided to give it a go. The menu on Thursday evening was not as big as the online menu but we still had plenty of delicious options. We got a blended strawberry margarita (not actually available typically) and a Kentucky Mule. I am very picky and judgemental about my mules, but this was the best I have had. Also served in a proper Mule mug! To eat we had the spicy shrimp dip which was so delicious, the days special ravioli, and the country fried chicken. I can't think of a more delicious, moist fried chicken from anywhere. Everything on our plates was great quality. Highly recommended!
