I love the energy here, all of the staff are super kind and helpful. The selection and store is always tidy and clean. Manager Emily is so knowledgeable and has been very responsible for safety and cleanliness during this time. Always a joy to stop by when i need to get supplies for my fur babies.

Great range of food and toys, stocking all the good brands. Staff are very friendly. The store is large and pet friendly; my puppy loves going there and socializing with some of the other dogs. Great customer service and great variety of raw food for dogs.

I've been shopping here for my two cats for the past year, and for my new pup for the past month. The staff is very friendly and always welcomes animals. I've had nothing but good experiences here. So happy it's in the neighborhood.

I've been going to Pet Valu in Mount Vernon for over a year. It always feels like I'm visiting family. I am most impressed by the whole team. However, I find Yusuf and most impressionable associate. Every time I come in with my dogs he is always prompt and has a genuine candor. He is knowledgeable about Pet Valu products and always find something for me to buy. After working in retail for over 20 years, what I value most is someone who knows their customers as well as how to upsell Yusuf is an asset to the Pet Valu family. I can't forget about the rest of the Pet Valu family Rodger Darren and Liz. These are the types of people that make a community and what makes me come back to Mount Vernon and Mount Vernon Pet Valu. Thanks team!!!

A little pricey for the treats and food. But I love the do it yourself wash area! Great customer service. Everyone is very helpful. The store is super clean! My dog loved the attention. I will be back!

Phone contact:
Sales person answering the phone was so quick to get me off the phone. He didn't give me a chance to tell him what I was looking for. Assured me that Petvu sold out of the item I never described. Apparently he did not want to waste his time on my phone call.
When a consumer waste their time into researching the stores phone number, waiting for someone to answer the phone, it wound be appreciated if the consumer's call received some of the same effort by the merchant. 😬
