Amazing customer service! Puppies very well taken care of! Love this place
Love my lil fella .
He will be 2 on August the 8th 2020 and he has been completely healthy. He is very sweet and smart. if I were to buy another puppy I would definitely buy from just puppies. They are very knowledgeable and helping you purchase a puppy.
Store is open but they don't answer the phone. I traveled 2 hours and when I got there they said appointments only. But they won't answer the phone and didn't want to give me an appointment for a future day. How hard is it just to answer the phone a say that you just don't have any puppies. My daughter was crying for 2 hours on the way back.
We got our cavapoo at Just Puppies and had a wonderful experience. The place is extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. And our cavapoo has been a wonderful addition to our family! I highly recommend getting your puppy from here.
Jagger is now 3 months old and the love of my life. Just puppies is a great place for a new furbaby. Thank you just puppies 👍
Puppy mill puppies. Do not buy. Research puppy Mills and what they are. Poorly bred dogs and not purebreds. Go to a shelter or reputable breeder instead.
I read the reviews and too be honest I was a little skeptical. But I wanted to get my mother a puppy for Christmas and this was the closest place. I did not notice any of the weird smells people were talking about nor did I encounter any rude staff members. There were 2 young ladies there that assisted me and my mother with our purchase. She left with what she wanted and she couldn't be happier. Will definitely be back to spend the rest of our credit there. Thanks ladies!
Staff are absolutely cruel to little kids.
Upon hearing that our family might get a dog for Christmas, my 8 and 11 yr old sons have been begging to go to Just Puppies to look for one. The 8 yr old stuck his finger in a cage while I wasn’t looking, but a split second later I saw it and pulled his finger away, knowing that fingers are not supposed to go in the cage.
A woman at the front desk yelled at him “you’re not playing with any dogs today” and he started crying.
After waiting for 45 minutes, the staff handling the dogs and people visiting them let everyone who came after us go before us. My husband asked if we could go in, and the staff member was extremely rude.
She said that since my son stuck his finger in the cage, we would not be able to spend time with any of the dogs.
Nearly every person there stuck their fingers in the cage at some point, but she decided to take it out on my kids, igniting two temper tantrums.
It not only made my 8 yr old cry, but my 11 yr old too as they were both looking forward to playing with a puppy we might get.
Their management only responds to bad reviews as a way to try to cover up the nasty behavior of their employees.
Please, don’t spend your money here.
The guy who greeted us was very nice, but one woman in particular was extremely rude and rushed our visit. My boyfriend and I were curious about where the puppies came from, but still wanted to know the different breeds that would be suitable for our work and lifestyle. There was a girl who ended up helping us and she was very impatient and didn’t believe we were seriously considering. She was pushy and didn’t believe my age, etc. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The puppies looked so sad and the place smelled like chemicals.
My experience was pleasant and all of my puppies records depicting every shot and check up right up to my taking him. This made it easy to give my vet his up to date history on his first visit. Miles (that's my puppy's name) has been happy and healthy ever since. Just Puppies us not your typical pet store from which you may have been warned away. I recommend them as a great source from which to buy a pet.
These puppies come from PUPPY MILLS! They will deny this up and down but PLEASE do not ever consider purchasing from this pet store (OR ANY PET STORE FOR THAT MATTER). A little research goes a long way - don't support this kind of cruelty.
Brought my dog from here 4 years ago when we got him the staff explained everything in a slow manner and our dog was healthy and groomed when we got him and I can't imagine life without him. They have a good selection and variety of dogs and let you sit and meet the dogs and decide which you like
I bought my golden retriever from here a few years ago. I loved every moment I was able to spend with her but cannot support this atrocious store. I had to put down my little golden before she even turned 4 years old. She had seizures that grew progressively worse and had hypothyroidism. She ended up having a stroke and becoming paralyzed. My vet says she was born with a forebrain disease, which not only made her have seizures and a non-functioning thyroid, but also caused her vision problems and personality problems (she loved me and my fiance but was extremely skittish of strangers). I've spent thousands of dollars trying to keep her alive but had to say good bye in the end. I will never buy a puppy from this disgusting place again. This store gets their puppies from puppy mills that breed unhealthy dogs just to make a buck.
This place has is disgusting, and has sick dogs living in filth.. If you want to support puppy mills then buy your dog here. The smell hits you in the face as soon as the door opens and you can fell the puppies are sad and sick, and coughing.. The manager and her cronies are supposed to be animal lovers, but they exploit these poor pups for their meager earnings, they laugh at customers and actively try to screw them over all while snickering about how stupid you are
Don't fall for the "warranty" because you can only use their vet, who will find nothing wrong or say it's not from genetics and clear them of any responsibility, also don't buy any accessories, or food, because that's how they make any profit at all It needs to be shut down. Buy your dogs from reputable breeders and it will live a long happy life.
They should have an emergency contact number available. I was having problems and desperately needed to talk to someone and it was a Monday so no one responded to my 6+ messages left on the answering machine. I would have hoped someone would have listened to them. They had to be there to care for the dogs and feed them. I am really upset and hope they honor the 48 hr return policy since they weren't open Monday and I got the puppy on Saturday.
Puppy selection was good but the guy that worked there was extremely unfriendly and rude. We were very interested in buying a puppy and his attitude ruined the experience. We will take our buisness elsewhere.
Picked out our puppy, spent time with him, a Yorkie Maltese mix. They took their time and explained everything to us. . We received paperwork for vet visits and a record of all the shots etc. He (Chewy) has been an exceptional pet and a loving part of our family from day one. Thank you "Just Puppies).
Two days ago I had to do the hardest thing I have ever done. I had to ask my vet to kill my beautiful boy. I bought Dewey from Just Puppies on 2/10/2006. I purchased him for $734.99. His papers listed the breeder as Chris Nilges, Box 135 Freeburg, MO 65035. I was instructed to take him to Owings Mills Animal and Bird Hospital, vet Ernest A. Slovon to ensure my "health guarantee". First let me say he was the worst vet I have ever encountered. Rough and cold with animals, not only Dewey but my rabbit who was dying at age ten. Anyway what started as a vet visit turned into a deluge of issues with Dewey. I suspected he was a puppy mill survivor and researched Chris Nilges. My suspicions were correct. I had Dewey for 10 years 8 months. During that time I spent $6,491.86 in vet bills for Dewey. Those are the receipts I have in my folder, there may have been more that were lost. This total does not include the countless dollars I spent on hypoallergenic foods, over the counter shampoos for his many skin conditions, training and various medications etc.. It also does not include my final bill from the vet and the crematory. I begrudge not a penny and I would do it over again in a heartbeat because I loved my boy so much. The point I am getting to is that when you purchase a dog from a shop that sells puppy mill puppies be prepared for the financial and emotional toll it takes. If your beloved pet has more serious physical or skeletal issues be prepared to pay even more. Nothing will bring my Dewey back but if I can save someone from this pain it will help.
It was kinda smelly cause of dog fur it was good because there was some hypoallergenic dogs. And it was just puppies and that was good
While they offer a health guarantee, you have to go to a specific vet. In my case, the closest one was 45 minutes away, whilst I have an excellent vet 10 mins away from where I live.
This said. Our boy that we got from here passed away at the age of 6. He was very well taken care of (if not completely spoiled!). I simply can't imagine a "healthy" dog passing away that soon. I attribute this to the puppy mill purchasing practice that this store reinforces.
