This hotel should be considered a 5 start hotel. Clean, friendly , quiet and staff is amazing! Laundry on site. Beach and stores are in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel. I don’t ever write reviews , this is my first review for any hotel. All I can say it’s a EXCELLENT HOTEL! I’m enjoying my stay as I write this review! We extended our stay here as we are really enjoying this hotel! FAMILY HOTEL! Perfect for kids! Perfect get a way spot! Please take my word on this hotel! This a perfect hotel and it’s not expensive even if it was it’s still worth every penny ! Heated clean pool! Can’t ask for any more !

Nice place to spend some time on the beach. Colorful decor, clean and great prices. You can do most any beach activity within virtually minutes from hotel and it's about 50 yards from the ocean front.

We stayed for the weekend. It was quiet, walking distance to beach shops/restaurants. Weather was rainy then cold. The room was cozy with a great heater. I would recommend this place for a short weekend getaway or family vacation.

We booked a room for 6 of us. The room was a little cozy, but not cramped, with all our luggage, however we do over pack :) Rooms were clean & lovely. The hotel staff even washed our dishes! Hotel staff was very friendly. Very convenient location. Loved this place and will certainly stay here again.

The room was clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Compared to surrounding competitors, you couldn't beat the price with this hotel. It's right across the street from the beach and a small walk away from shopping centers and food. There's also a nice restaurant located next door to this hotel. Our room also included two beach chairs and a cooler, which was a nice surprise. The fourth floor has a great view. If I ever came back to Clearwater, I would definitely book with Pelican Pointe. It's a hidden gem near the beach.

Stayed in the Studio for a week. Very clean and roomy for two people. I also really appreciated all of the extra effort in the bathroom like makeup remover wipes and complimentary beach towels. For such a low price, I am very satisfied.

This was a great place!!! My daughter and I stayed here 2 nights and it was so clean and decorated really cute. This will definitely be my come to place in Clearwater. Friendly staff and very well kept up property! Love this place!!

This is a great place to stay close to everything. The staff is great they are friendly. The room is kept clean. For the price you can't beat it. It's Across the street from more expensive hotels we paid 1/2 the price a night. You have to walk less than a 1/8 mile to the beach I can walk it with a cooler and chair in 5 min.

The rooms are so beautiful and creative. We got a separate living area with a kitchenette and bedroom and bathroom. For the price it is very convenient. We have walked everywhere without burning gas, including the beach! The only thing that got me, was the fact I traveled 12 hour to get here, overnight with no sleep, and when I arrived it was 7 am. They would not let us check in until exactly 3 pm so we had no where to shower or anything until 3. Big disappointment. Otherwise,very clean pretty, convenient hotel.

Excellent experience. Clean rooms and the staff is attentive. Excellent views and if you stay on the 4th floor, you have a good view of the Gulf of Mexico. I will definitely stay here again and I recommend this hotel to friends.

Cute quaint rooms with a beach theme. The room was very clean, housekeeping and staff were very nice and helpful. It is located across the street from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay there again.

We initially booked this hotel thinking that it was decent for the price, but it turned out to be not the case. When we got there and looked at the room, we saw that it was impossible to fit 4 people (me and 3 others). They showed us another room which was only a tiny bit bigger. The place smelled old and the elevator had the smell of cigar/cigarette smoke because of the old cloth wall panels inside (which they said they were going to replace). The room was clean but the couch looked old and had several small tears in the cushions. They also didn't have a free breakfast in the morning, and based on my experience, not having one is uncommon. The location was on the busy (and sometimes noisy) side of Clearwater Beach and the parking spaces were kind of small. On the plus side, the lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful, there were places to go nearby, and it was relatively close (3-5 minutes walking) to the beach. 2 stars for a decent location and friendly staff.

Pelican Pointe is a comfortable and affordable hotel within walking distance of the beach and much of the bars, restaurants, and activities in Clearwater. Our hotel featured a cozy bed, kitchenette, and plenty of space. The only downside to our space was its proximity to the pool (literally right outside it), which invited lots of noise from children in other rooms and TONS of harsh lighting at night from the safety lights. Seriously, there are no blackout shades?! We ended up covering the window with a dark blanket from the room on the second night after we spent a night tossing and turning from the lights coming in through our window. Despite this, I would still recommend Pelican Pointe as a nice, yet cheaper alternative to many of the resorts in Clearwater - just be prepared to find some creative solutions to odd problems.

Staying here now was a little scared at first but once I made it its very clean and comfortable. Close to the beach and 10 percent off the restaurant next door will try them out later..

Amazing stay! Would definitely stay again. The room we stayed in was adorable and VERY CLEAN. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The pillows are super fluffy and everything in the room was up to date. My favorite part was that the gorgeous beach was only across the street. Just a 5 minute walk. Plus were able to walk to some amazing restaurants near by. Pool is heated and clean. Such a lovely experience, all for 99$!! I have no complaints.
