An enjoyable stay.

This location is one of the older HIE locations i have stayed in. As is the case with older properties that have been acquired and re-branded, there are discrepancies between this location and some of the other, newer or recently renovated hotels, and the age is noticeable.

That being said, this also allows for a unique layout that might not be common in those other locations. The staff is also extremely friendly, and the overall feel was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Overall, a great stay.

*Update from Dec '17: The location has been undergoing extensive renovations. This, of course, impacts the quality of the stay, but i am excited to see what one of my most frequented HIE locations will turn into. The hotel is definitely one of the older types in the brand, and a fresh look will definitely be welcome.

Nice hotel with even better surroundings. As of 12/18/2017 the hotel is under renovations. Beware. Movie theatre and Publix are right next door within walking distance.

Maybe if it weren't under renovation things would be better. That said, the place is in shambles and probably shouldn't be open during this stage of their renovation. Between the dirt, dust, bugs, etc the stay was far less than desirable!

If you want a quiet evening this isn't your place. They cater to youth sports teams and the kids run out of control. The hotel is being remodeled so we expected so inconvenience. But plaster on the floors in our room, tub that won't drain and a sink whose stopper won't work is inexcusable. My brothers room two doors down has to wait 20 minutes for hot water, my room two doors down had scalding hot water. But they still charged us the premium rate.

The room was adequate. The space provided was mostly clean, and there was a coffee maker present. However, for $140.00/night, out of season, I expect more than adequate.

There were black stains on the carpet that suggested a refrigerator was a room option, in the not too distant past. The shower and tub were clean, but the wall tile had black mold in the grout. There was an old uncomfortable armchair, but no sofa or recliner. The desk chair had a loose arm and also was not comfortable, but what desk chair is?

The bed was comfortable though, and the room noise was minimal. I had a good night's rest. For the price being charged, however, I was disappointed.

We had an enjoyable stay at Holiday Inn. Rooms were ok but pool could have had some TLC. Towels were not available by pool and had to ask twice. Last morning, food was cold. Sausage on buffet was actually still frozen. Probably won't stay again.

The room was nice and we loved that our sliding glass door opened up to the pool. Breakfast was good. Overall very nice hotel. However, some of the staff was not so friendly (especially a certain night shift staff member), but the daytime staff we checked in with and reserved our room with was very pleasant. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy sleeping in on our little vaca because we got woken up at 7am in the morning by blower blowing for a good 30 mins or longer. Our check out was at 11 and they knocked on our door to come clean two different times before 10:45 so it felt like we were being rushed to check out.

One of the best hotels that I've stayed in! Everyone was so nice and friendly (Even tho I probably bothered them) The only thing that happened is that the key on our door was not letting us in and the maintenance guy helped up greatly. The pool was nice the hot tub was great and the beds are so comfortable. I had a great stay

I had a bowling tournament in Tampa. To be honest, it looks nice on the outside but once we got into the room, it had an awful smell from the start. Later to find out the pillows had the if not the same horrible smell when you pushed into them.. The outlets didn't hold out chargers. The toilet flushed 2 times, then it over flowed everywhere in the bathroom. I had to turn the water off because it wouldn't stop pushing water out We weren't happy at all for the over night stay.

Staff was friendly, but this facility is in dire need of updating. The lobby smells like mildew when you walk in.
Carpeting in halls is worn and.dirty.
The carpeting in the breakfast area not only has spots,but there are actually tares in the carpeting walking down to the table area.
Staff seems to be working hard to sweep up crumbs, but it is still dirty carpeting.
The hotel room itself was pretty clean. Some dirt on the edges of the tile in the bathroom.
We stayed in a first floor room that faced the parking lot . After the first day we noticed that there was a homeless person living out of their car in the hotel parking lot. It was a little bothersome considering we were on the 1st floor facing the parking lot .
The exercise room was very warm,so they had the door propped open..all the equipment was working.
The pool looked ok,but no one was using it. We spent 2 nights here.
I would not use this hotel again

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast. Took a dip in the pool too! Didn't have any problems or issues. It's within walking distance of some other stores. Positive experience. Would stay here again.
