Our suite was huge, great big comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom shower
area made for a relaxed environment. Located on main road withe close access to private beach.
The front desk staff were all very helpful ,friendlay and courteous . I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.response / report this review -

My family and I stayed here for a week in one of the suites that has two queen beds in a bedroom, a full kitchen, and a living area. I didn't take any pictures of the room, sadly, but was very impressed with the suite. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for a week long vacation. I knew I had neighbors, but never heard them, beyond the random door closing or foot traffic outside. The parking garage entrance is behind the hotel, rather than on Gulfview Blvd. You have to get on the road that runs behind it to get in the lot. The front of the hotel, visible from Gulfview is barely more than an entrance to the office and a sign. Our window view wasn't fantastic, but I didn't come for the view, and we didn't spend much time at the hotel, except to sleep. My only real gripe about the hotel is the beds are TERRIBLE. They are no better than sleeping on the floor, they are so hard. Why on earth do so many hotels have these terrible beds that make you want to go without sleep rather than keep tossing and turning on massively painful pressure points because the bed doesn't "give" at all?!?!? We actually ended up going to walmart and buying a 4" thick memory foam topper to make the week's sleep bearable. (Bonus: we now have a 4" thick memory foam topper for our bed at home. lol.)

If you want luxury, don't go here. It is very much worth what you pay, but it is not the fanciest hotel on the island. We loved that the pool was salt water, and it was never full. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The front desk staff was wonderful. Miguel was very helpful when it came to finding places to eat or visit. The girls were great too, but we had the most experience with Miguel, so I don't have much to say on the others. My favorite thing about this hotel is that the housekeeping only comes on the 4th day of your trip, and every 3rd after that. The front desk must have told the cleaning crew that we were on our honeymoon, because they cleaned up our room and laid out towels in the shape of hearts on the bed. It was very thoughtful. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is solely because I couldn't enjoy the balcony due to people below smoking, and the neighbors being loud and smoking as well. They have a 2 strike rule for noise, and we could have complained, but they weren't loud enough for us to bother. We just went back inside where we couldn't hear them. The air conditioning was also very loud in our room and would wake us up throughout the night when it would turn on, so after the first night we just left the fan on instead of auto. We didn't dislike our time here by any means, but next time we would probably stay somewhere further up the island. We walked everywhere, and the hotel is at the very end of the island which made some of the walks to be longer than we'd have liked.

I really wanted to give this place at least one more star but I just can't. The rooms were decent but the fact you have to pay a resort fee of $15 when this place is no way a resort just a decent motel. Then there was the front desk clerk Katherine who was so rude the moment we walked in. I don't know if it was because our ages ranged from 21-25 but she made sure we knew that if we were too loud the police would be called after one warning and they would evict us. She demanded my ID and credit card instead of politely ask for it. Katherine set the tone for our stay and let's just say it wasn't a good one. We won't be back.

Rooms were wonderful, staff was awesome and great location. Very clean and felt like home. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants to have a great time with great people. The location is wonderful to walk and eat or have beach access.

We stayed here just this past week for 6 nights. When we called to reserve our rooms we specifically asked if there was an elevator and they said yes. We would not booked this resort had we known it really did not have an elevator. My father-in-law is handicap and it was tough on him all week to go up and down the stairs. The lady that checked us in did not offer to move us to their sister hotel across the street, but the lady at the desk a few days later said she should have. The pool limit is only 19 persons in the pool which seems silly when you have that many rooms and occupants. Luckily we never were told to get out, but at one point there were 20 people in the pool. Our phone in the room was barely hanging on the wall, the closet in the bathroom was broken, there is no closet in the bedroom, our coffee table was uneven so if you put a bottle on it sideways then it just rolls to the left, my in-laws had a drawer that wouldn't close, the sofa beds are very uncomfortable and not suitable for adults, but they were okay for the kids I guess and there is only a housekeeper there every 3 days. The pros about this place is it is close to the beach, they have access to a private beach which me and my family enjoyed because it was way less crowded than the public beach, the staff was very friendly and nice, it's walking distance to several places, the queen beds we slept on were very comfortable, we enjoyed having a full size kitchen, we liked that the bedroom was separate from the living area and we liked having a washer and dryer on site to do laundry. (dryer vent was broken though and seemed a little dangerous) I guess for the money we spent on the rooms I expected it to be a little nicer, but overall it was fine. I wouldn't stay there again, but it worked for us for the week.

It was a very nice hotel. We had the condo style room and it had everything we needed. Front desk was helpful and prompt. The private beach is also right across the street. Loved the location. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lost a star due to check in time. We drove 18 hrs and we're ready for our room when we got to Clearwater at 12. We had requested to have our room ready by then but when we called to confirm they said no rooms would be ready till 4 needless to say that's past regular check in besides that little hiccup everything was great. Would return.

First of all this is NOT a resort. The pictures are deceiving and the facility is nothing more but a fancy motel. The electrical outlets did not work in either rooms we booked, and the next day the electricity itself was not working. The front desk receptionist Katherine had a 'lovely' attitude from the minute we called confirming our booking till checking out. She was trying to find any delusional reason to evict our group such as telling maintenance "I think they're trouble" to "they're definitely under 21" when she checked our IDs at check-in. Thankfully maintenance were nice and informed us she just has mood swings, and they made us feel welcome at least. The hotel is NOT walk-able distance to proper public beach access and the only pro is it is located adjacent to a police station, so security is not an issue. There is also no housekeeping till the 4th day. There are MUCH nicer hotels and actual resorts down the road that go for similar price. We regretted overlooking these when booking.

Love this place, almost hate to rate it I'd rather keep it a secret! FANTASTIC Boutique property perfect for couples and small families, the property is kept pristine and the staff is phenomenal! Only downside is there is no elevator and they need another ice machine.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coconut Cove hotel. Large rooms, newly renovated, with everything you need. Nice pool with free bottled water and a great staff. Location is 8 min walking to the main section of the beach although a small beach is across the street. Small grocery store is right next door. A few things could be improved upon..carpet is old and beds aren't the best. Overall a good value.
