I stopped into the Parker for a drink at the lobby bar. The atmosphere was killer, the night energy was awesome, and everything about the experience was really rad. The only reason that I would give this less than five stars is because of the price of the cocktail. It was an excellent drink, but they charge $19. I think it would make a killer $15 cocktail, or they could ramp up the presentation and selection to warrant a $19 tag. Again, you won't be disappointed at all, just get ready to pay a little more than makes sense.

Try to give a fair review. After I read the previous reviews, they are pretty much accurate.
The place (real estate) is beautiful with rich landscaping. The property is maintained very well. Staffs are working hard to provide present, memorable experiences for guests.
With that in mind, the hotel service level is far off from 5 stars, considering I paid $600+ “per room a day”
1. It was a quick retreat for my family and my business partner (2 rooms reserved). Both rooms, I called a day before and confirmed that we could check in at 9am. The day we arrived, we were told that we had to wait until 12 or 1pm as all rooms were booked. I had to make my guest (a husband and a wife) wait. I understood that the rooms might be fulled. I had no intention to kick anyone out : ). As a reminder, they claimed a five-stars, charged well. (Later on I found out that the ave rate is $260-350/night). They could just called me if the room was not available. Instead, the front desk kept asking me whom I spoke to. - that was not the point when the issue was caused by a mismanagement.
2. I called the hotel in an advance to leave a card with a welcome message for the guest. They confirmed multiple times over the phone that it considered done. It turned out that the front desk wasn’t even aware of it and they screwed up the little surprises. Although the chef concierge did remembered, failed to leave the card prior to walk into the room. Once again, it is far off considering the service level they suppose to provide.
3 last but no least, I drove my TESLA to the hotel. I was told that the car was going to charge over night. I checked my TESLA app the night and surely the car was not charging. Didn’t even bother letting them know. At the time of valet pick up, the gentleman informed me that one of them forgot to charge it, and they will try to improve their service which I appreciate their honestly.
Overall, everyone seems to be working hard to fulfill their own task but many things simply do not work as a high-end hotel. Great job to the chef concierge person, cleaners, waiters, waitress, valets, and servants, but their management level has a major defect.
Will I return to this hotel? - Absolutely no thank you.
Was I asking too much for the hotel service and experience with the money spent? - Maybe, maybe not.response / report this review -

This place is spectacular! From your drive up to the amazing entrance to the end is an experience everyone should be so lucky to have. Excellent service. Stunning relaxed gardens and pools. Great restaurants. Beautiful lounge area. I could keep going.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Beautifully designed by Jonathan Adler. The Parker Palm Springs has an interesting history (worth a Google). Sitting in the cocktail lounge you feel like you're in a James Bond movie. I could go on forever about this place. The service was great. Live it. Worth treating yourself.

Out of my general price range, but that's part of their exclusivity I suppose Nonetheless I've popped in for a visit here & there & I'd say the general theme is retro-mod-boho-chic. $19 for a vodka on the rocks, so you can imagine the cost of a cheese burger by the pool, to breakfast on the veranda, to lamb in Mr. Parker's (menu changes) is going only going to go up in price.

One of my top five! Both food and service are great. They just opened a wine bar too which is on par with the high standard of excellence they have here. The layout is magical and offers many hidden alcoves around every turn.

This is like nothing else you've ever experienced. It's more than just a hotel - it's like going down the rabbit hole (that's an Alice in Wonderland reference, FYI). It's calming and exciting at the same time. Everything is lovely and so cool and the attention to detail is exceptional.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. My wife and I were here for a wedding, and that is the only way to get access to alot of the outdoor property to check out. If you get this chance, there are so many awesome places to take pictures, so bring a good camera! Also most people say free valet is the only option, but if your willing to walk you can actually park on the side street for free which is the same street the valet people use to park overflowed cars. I choose to do this since I'm not a fan of the associated risks that come with valet parking.

Went for drinks and apps to Norma's and the food and drinks were great. The atmosphere on the back patio was perfect and designed very nicely. However, the service was lacking. We had one server then were switched to another without letting us know. The second server then never checked back or waited on us. We had to hunt down someone in order to pay the bill. Expected much better service than we received.

Beautiful property and rooms. Staff are stretched and not very efficient or helpful in a lot of scenarios sadly. However, concierge was standout for service - a shining star!
Hotel restaurant Norma's had amazing food but was very slow, no matter how full or empty it was.
Last gripe - Parker Palm Springs don't guarantee check in before 4pm but have a 12pm strict checkout time?!
Should be five stars but the obvious issues above pull it down.response / report this review -

This hotel is very different. Upside: Lots of fun art, and in general a fun and funky vibe. The option for a family pool is wonderful! The Grounds are beautiful and there are a lot of great pool side rooms. The staff is fun, works hard, and in general very kind! Downside: It's overpriced for what it ultimately offers compared to other hotels, and lacks basic hospitality tools, (ex, no coffee maker in room: $9 cup, only one robe for two guests, etc). There was a definite "Nickle and dime"/cheap airline kind of a feel during our visit. Overall a new experience and we were glad to visit, but this place might be one to just visit for brunch.

Unfortunately, not my scene, but that doesn't take away from how beautifully decorated the hotel is. The few staff members I encountered were incredibly nice; Made this old woman feel welcomed. The grounds are gorgeous. Walking through them felt like walking through some secret walkways where we'd find a fire put with chairs arranged around it. Other times we'd see hammocks. Simply beautiful and peaceful looking
