We stayed here a few years ago and loved it so this weekend we decided to stay here again. We weren’t informed of all the construction taking place everywhere that is preventing us from playing craps and wakes us up at 7am. We asked for a mini fridge and was told it would be sent up and never was. We did some gambling and was never offered a cocktail and couldn’t get anyone’s attention even after calling to one specific girl a few times. The rooms are still beautiful but it seems that’s all they have to offer. I can say we will not be back to this hotel after this trip is over.

Ive been coming to this casino for quite a few years. I remember when this place was packed wall to wall with customers and a lot of people having fun and gambling. When the Maloof family owned this casino it was such a awesome place. They sold it and it kind of went downhill.
Now Station casinos owns it and everything they touch is great so I have a lot of hope for the Palms to go back to how it used to be.
I recently went in there and I see that they are putting millions of dollars into the casino and making it the premier station casino that it should be.response / report this review -

If you think of the more darker side of Las Vegas, this hotel definitely puts off that vibe. It had a club feel but the majority of the patrons I saw were men in their 20s and 30s (or old creepy guys) coming to have a "good time". The female employees were not dressed professionally, again, attracted the kind of men I want to avoid like the plague.
The rooms were decent - the full tub was great. The staff were kind to me and the travel group I hosted at this hotel. (Thus the 2 rating as compared to 1.) But I'm sorry, this place puts off the vibe that good people want to avoid - no hiding it. I would never recommend this place to anyone.response / report this review -

Food court is pretty good! The movie theater has a good selection and comfortable seating. Dining in the restaurant was fabulous. A little higher price than you would normally expect in a coffee shop type restaurant at 3 a.m. Put the food was worth every bit of it. Good quality and great presentation

Great restaurant with great views. Highly recommend the next time you are in Las Vegas. The only down side was that one of the wait staff spilled two appetizers on 3 members of my party. She then asked if we wanted them to be remade. I answered in the affirmative, thinking the answer should have been apparent. We were not greeted my a manager nor were we offered and courtesy for our inconvenience.

They did a very good job making the Palms Casino look like a current version of retro. The colors. The lights. The sounds. Even some of the smells.
Nice restaurants. Less expensive tables than the casinos on the Strip. Great theater. And a food court in case you don't have time or money for the full restaurant experience. And parking is free!!!response / report this review -

The rooms at palms palace are great! Wicked view clean nice. However the casino is sub par at best and the pool area is a joke. I wasn't aloud to bring my own drink alcohol or not down to sip. Apparently you have to buy just their drinks, well out of protest I didn't spend another penny on anything at the entire palms resort. I spent my money at other casinos etc and just went up and down from my room and drank my own stuff. I would have bought drinks after I had my own out of sheer laziness but because of their ridiculous policy I didn't buy one single drink. Get real it's Vegas

Our room was upgraded and nice. However, our #1 reason for choosing this hotel was the convenience of all of the clubs/lounges. Every single one of them is closed for “renovation “. Even the pool is already closed for the season. This ruined my birthday trip. We ended up having to pay to travel to other hotels for everything. Why would you charge $36 resort fees for everyday , but offer no amenities?!

I've been a loyal Palms customer for years. I love everything about the casino and their rooms. Not saying it's always been perfect, but the management here sure knows how to take care of you if any situations arise. In specific, Assistant Manager Joshua Boren's customer service has been nothing short of spectacular. He's always made sure to accommodate my requests and leave with immense satisfaction from my stays.
I've had my ups and downs at the tables and slots, but I don't judge Vegas hotels based on my personal luck with gambling.
As far as their rooms go, you won't find anything in Vegas that provides luxurious, contemporary style rooms for the price Palms offers. You get a lot of value from it and everyone should become a Club Palms member (free players card you get at the casino). This will significantly reduce your room rates so long as you keep it active (even if you play $5 per year) and give you offers throughout the year for free stays and more.
Their Premier and Superior Guestrooms are lovely but if you can afford an extra ~$70 per night get the Ivory Suite! It is gorgeous and it is the remodeled Fantasy Tower. There are plenty of pictures online. They also have a variety of themed suites, such as the Barbie Suite and the famous Playboy aka Hugh Hefner Suite, that you can find on their website. It's truly a unique Resort.
You can also consider the more budget friendly Palms Place located at the tower next to the main casino, joined together by a Sky Lift. Palms Place is my usual go-to in all of Vegas. It offers two types of suites throughout the whole tower. My preference is their Studio Suite which offers 600 Sq ft of space, a balcony (locked), state-of-the-art kitchen with a fridge and electric oven and more. It has a hot tub that's always a perfect way to relax and just overall feels nice spacious and cozy. Their One Bedroom Suite costs about $100 per night more than the Studio, but it's double the size and offers everything that does plus more: a gas fireplace, hot tub inside the bedroom overlooking Vegas, two balconies, double shower, etc. They also do have a third option, which is the Two Bedroom Suite which is basically a joint One Bedroom and Studio Suite at the corner of the floor with its own private door. It's perfect for large groups that want to party til the sunrise.
Have a blast and remember to place any requests you have with management and they will do what they can to accommodate you.response / report this review -

Rounding up from 3.5. Staff was friendly. The rooms were modern and spacious. Comfortable beds and a decent sized television. The one thing I always take a star away for is for not having handheld shower heads. Not only are the shower heads fixed I didn't see a way to change the spray to a different setting.
Didn't get a chance to gamble but the Casino floor seems to have most of the major games to play. Food court had some decent options and they seem to be building a new buffet.
Overall it was a good experience. If you want a modern hotel at a decent price not to far off the strip this is a good choice.response / report this review -

We were on the fantasy tower, floor 18. The room was OK, dusty, but a lot of hair in the bathroom. TOTALLY Gross and the Shower wouldn't drain. I've been to many hotels in the area and they all offer water at the pool for the kiddos, this one did not, only a water fountain. I personally will never stay here again. The buffet wasn't bad, but that will not be here long. They will be taking it out, and replacing it with a different restaurant.

Huge updated room. Great views of strip. Inexpensive (we got the room for $45 not including resort fee, $76 all in). Room came with free breakfast buffet and full resort amenities. Not super clean though (some dust on ledges gave way to allergies). Hotel casino is a bit old looking and relatively small. That said, customer service was great (all staff was very friendly and efficient). Also, the shuttle to the strip was top-rate (leather seating in an air-conditioned Mercedes van dropoff every 30 minutes at Caesar's palace, pickup too).

I was so surprised when we entered the palms since it looks a little dumpy from the outside. It's beautiful inside! And the rooms are shockingly nicer than anticipated. Although the palms is not directly on the strip, it is close enough. They have a taco shop in their food court which is worth the trip to the palms all on its own. Very nice very large pool. Skip the ghost bar, it's pretty lame by Vegas standards.

Went to the 24 hour buffet. It was late so the food selections were limited. However, they do have a made to order menu. The selections were tasty. However when something ran out, they had to make it from scratch so it was a while before the selection was available again. The service was good. Would recommend.

The Palms has always been a very nice hotel. Even under it's new owners, Station Casinos, it seems to shine a bit brighter than most of the strip hotels. We visited for Easter brunch at Cafe 6 which was fantastic. The food although partially served buffet style was fresh and the service was amazing. The included drinks were well-prepared and went well with the meal. The wait staff was courteous and efficient including the restaurant manager who came over to discuss the history of the restaurant and the changeover from The Palms group to ownership under stations. I would recommend anyone try this restaurant well in town and locals can have an excellent meal without dealing with strip traffic
