I'm part of M-LIFE membership SO to be honest, I get a decent discount @ GOLD level. However, it's a great place to stay because I can get behind the NYC Experience they try to deliver. I'm NOT into super luxurious rooms although they're available for sure. The hotel room is mainly a place to sleep soundly and change clothes for dinner and / or clubbing. The room I ALWAYS get is clean, spacious and quiet. The casino is busy without being too loud or crazy. There's a nice selection of slightly upscale restaurants for ALL types of dining. I ALWAYS Hit up the health SPA to get pampered and relaxed. It's conveniently located on the strip. It's NOT the MOST luxurious BUT it's probably got the best of everything ALL around for me!
Ever been to Vegas? If you have then you know that the only difference between hotels is the decor, they all want your money. NY NY does a good job of providing entertainment outside of gambling. The gameroom, roller coaster, or food area is interesting enough to keep the most anti gambler entertained. Even if you get bored the strip is right out the front door. I recommend tipping the doorman and asking for advice, they know Vegas and will be super helpful with a bit of generosity.
What an awesome place! Didn't stay as a guest but I visited the casino many a time. Shops are awesome, food is even better. The mini New York streets inside are fun to walk around. The outside of the hotel and casino is easily one of the most beautiful and fun places to look at and take photos. Gaming arcade inside so a great place to stay if you're bringing younger family. Generally amazing property, but I didn't stay here so I can't rate the rooms.
Such an amazing hotel. They even slipped a happy letter under our door! Such nice people, they even settled the overcharge of the room later on with ease. Checkout was a long process but still love this hotel. Would love to stay again. All the restaurants and games are great too. And no one can forget about the roller coaster! Still shocked how awesome it was. Thank you for making my birthday awesome!
I really loved this hotel! It's very beautiful and there's a lot of fun things to do. We first went there to go to the Times Square Bar to see the dueling pianos. We danced and had some drinks and it was a very fun experience! The bouncers were friendly and so were the bartenders. On another night we went back to ride the roller coaster. That was also very fun! We had an issue with our M Life card and the woman that helped us at the rewards desk was very friendly and helped us in no time! It's an overall great place!
I have been going to Las Vegas for many years now and I always enjoy myself at New York-New York Hotel & Casino. The decoration on the inside really makes you feel like you're in Central Park. I have never stayed as a overnight guest but my friends have all said it is very nice. I love the roller coaster! And the pizza and live entertainment is amazing.
We were staying at Monte Carlo, but using New York, New York for it's food service and casino. We ate at Nine Fine Irishmen. Food was good, a little pricey. We used myvegas rewards for fish and chips. We also ate breakfast on our last day at the America restaurant. Good food, big portions.
Room was great with a spa bath and a good view over the new T-Mobile arena. Hardly spent any time in the room but when we did the huge king size bed was amazing for a sleep to recover after the night before for the day ahead. The only negative I could level at the hotel and it was the same in all of them is the level of cigarette smoke. It was everywhere. Absolutely hated that part even though they do their best to remove or cover it with vanilla. Loved the stay and would go again
Located on the strip, great selection of restaurant inside too. Close by to famous shops found on the street. Seems to very popular for families.
Rooms were good, however, due to the structure of the hotel, windows to the strip was very odd and we couldn't enjoy the view very much.
Pool area is nice, water bottles are supplied and the area is very large. The negative point is that every 5 minutes the roller coaster is coming above the pool and the noise isn't that pleasant.
Good average hotel, price is reasonable.
My favorite place to visit while in Vegas. It's like they wrapped New York into the size of a city block and put it in a building. If you don't have enough fun just walking through the building they also have great shows. Upstairs they have a very fun arcade with really fun games and a wall of pinball machines. We could have easily stayed in the arcade all day. And if that is not enough they have a roller coaster that is almost to much fun to ride. We got an all day pass and rode it about 10 times day and night. If you only do it once a night time ride is worth it just to see all the crazy lights. Might have to bring the kids here next time.
Fun casino. Good size rooms. Serviced everyday almost as soon as we went out. Some of the best value and quality restaurants compared with other casinos. The casino floor is a bit smoky at times. Not as plush as some of the strip casinos but a good midrange choice in a good location. The pool is a bit basic.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HoteIRaven. com Booked a hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around
My stay was mostly awesome! There were non functioning elevators though which VERY much affected my enjoyment on the weekend. I would expect with paying that much money and how terrific everything else was that having enough elevators, that go to ALL rooms and not just certain ones, would be a priority. The place was clean and really that is my only complaint, everything else was great! Seriously, having to cram into elevators and sometimes wait forever for one with room was not cool.
We visited New York New York while on our trip to Vegas. We ate at a joint called Broadway's and the service was fast and friendly. The Hershey Store was a fun stop for chicken and watermelon. They loved the mold of the statue of liberty. The big Apple roller coaster is a must for everyone who loves coasters! It is one of the finest coasters in Vegas! I love the over all atmosphere and layout of the
I've stayed at New York New York for my own bachelor party. There was 8 of us and the hotel did the best they could with our budget. The value rooms are not the best, however I still really like the hotel for its atmosphere and vibe. Staff are super friendly and the dewling pianos is a great place for a drink. The games are great here, with lots of tables, I play blackjack and roulette. They have $5 tables too which I really enjoy. The shake shack located on the side on the compound is my favorite burger place in Las Vegas Would definitely stay here again
