Great Buffet every night. Friday Night is Seafood nite! The wait is long but it's definitely worth the wait. Once inside good selection across the board Price is good, Friday night cost more for unlimited steamed Crabs! Enjoy see ya there!
Not too impressed. Leaving tomorrow and haven't heard a thing from our host. Came here with family for two birthdays and the casino had absolutely no birthday promos. Casinos in Calgary even will give out a piece of cake. My phone was stolen here on my first full day staying and the security apparently won't help you out unless it's basically ripped out of your hands. Just generally disappointed with the whole place. First time in Vegas and had heard good things about Sam's Town, but the returning members of the group even say it's gone downhill. Won't be recommending this place to anyone.
This is a great Hotel/ Casino for those people who want to avoid The Strip but still get the traditional Vegas experience. The rooms here are reasonably priced and there is no parking fee making it an even better option for those who want to save a bit of money. What’s more is that there’s something for everyone from bowling, to movies, to nightlife to just walking around at the park in the center of the Casino. Highly recommended!
Great place to see the waterfall with the family. Animated robotic animals and a free light show nightly. They also have holiday decor during the seasons. Even have a cowboy Santa that is free to see for the kiddies. There is a pretty good theater on site to watch the latest movies. There is an arcade to play video games and win prizes. They also have a bowling lanes for family fun bowling your night away, featuring glow bowling with neon lights out bowling nightly at 9pm. There is live entertainment on stage, a country store, restaurants, and an all you can eat buffet that is just a bit pricey. Gambling and bars for the adults. Restaurants include a steak house, TGIF, And a food court. This is a locals favorite. Love it!
Ate for the second time at Big Mess BBQ. The billboard ads are very deciving. They need to be very clear on the $7.99 deal. The food was to our table so quick I was surprised. Proportions are big and filling. Big Jay was fun and funny, and our server Iris was very personable. Food and staff are great.
Cons: Not enough marketing. When it was Billy Bob's they had specials and busier due to the specials and comps. The buffet has a line with a 30-1hr wait! How come these folks aren't driven to Big Mess?. Already lost Willy and Jose's. Seriously need way better marketing and daily deals. Yes the food is great. But as frequent folks that eat out almost daily, we look for new places but also deals that drive us to return. We don't gamble. But we enjoy traveling for a good meal but a deal helps no break the bank.
Sam's Town is a nice place to visit away from the strip. It is a self-contained casino with free parking and a western vibe. It is not overly crowded and staff appeared friendly. We went to check out something new that we haven't seen on previous trips. We went to view the Mystic Falls park and free show. The park is inside and while not very big it is a nice free exhibit that features animatronics. They also put on a free show at the waterfall with music, lights and shooting water. We are glad we went and enjoyed the free show. We also played the penny machines while waiting for the show.
Staff at Sam's Town has always been the most polite and friendly of any casino I've been in, I'm including all the visits there for the past 20 - something years! The buffet is decent for the price, they usually send out coupons for 2for 1 buffets and, like several other casinos, now offer a 50% discount for one buffet dinner in case you're dining alone.
The machines pay out fairly well, I'd say about on average of most casino payouts on Boulder. The point is, is a fun, local place to hang out where the people treat you well and with respect.
I haven't stayed in a room there for a while but they've always been decent for the price too.
Sam's Town has been a long time favorite of mine. Gambling is OK. I haven't stayed in the Hotel for a long time but I had no problems when I did. I really enjoy the Firelight Buffet. It is one of my favorites. Some of the Servers are fantastic and some are barely adequate but in the end a good time can be had with little effort. When you get a chance go by and see for yourself. Good Luck and happy gambling and eat well
Our First time my Wife Rhonda & I have eating here it surely was Phenomenal. Food was delicious impressed by the taste of it. Although the Eggs we're a little runny under cooked other than that you could use a Upgrade on the Desert. I personally didn't like how some looked so I passed. My server I forgot her name was on Her A+ Game with the drinks without asking. Clean place to eat and highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back to try Dinner and see what choices to pick from. God bless all the staff everyone 👏👌
Favorite place to go off the strip. Dealers are incredibly friendly, poker room has some decent action considering it's size and the table games make for pretty cheap entertainment (if you have enough self control.) The Billy bob's is FANTASTIC, I'd even go as far as to say it's the best restaurant at Sam's Town. I stopped getting offers a little bit ago but it's understandable, considering I haven't been in a few years, but every time I visit Vegas, regardless if I'm staying in a neighborhood casino, with family or on the strip, Sam's is a must!!
Great place if you're on a budget. The neighborhood sucks but as long as you're at the casino you're in good hands safe comfortable. Just not close to anything else. My family from out of town continues to stay here, I don't know why. I guess the odds are good and they offer you free rooms often
Wonderful place to visit The buffet is incredible.. the movie theater is always showing the newest movies.. great concession stand.. I love the arcade. And you must visit the incredible waterfalls and friendly animals.. :) incredible employees!!! My kids and I love it so much here
I loved this place from the very first time I visited. Majestic place to stay and gamble. The park in the center of the casino is very soothing and relaxing. Awesome bartenders, cocktail waitresses, customer service, restaurants, the people that clean the rooms are the very best and I just can't say enough! I'd give them more stars if they were available.
What isn't there to like about Sam's Town? It's a little bit of everything pieced into one location. A great selection of restaurants, a massive bowling arena, two floors of gambling and a one of a kind-show in their indoor park. Sam's Town also features exceptional customer service and free transportation to both the strip and Fremont Street. I've stayed here on numerous occasions and it's highly recommended especially if you're looking for something close to the strip without all the tourist congestion.
