The movie theater didn't have much choices during Christmas. Prime rib restaurant is a must eat, especially the steaks. They are soft, tender and juicy. Atmosphere is nice, not noisy. There is a bar right outside if you need to wait to be called.

Bowling facility sux. 3 employees behind the counter. When I walked up 1 said here's your #, it's a 1/2 hr wait. I turned around to look at 30 empty lanes. I went back up and said , "What's up with the wait? You got tons of open lanes!!" He said ---NOW WAIT FOR IT, ---" I just got back from lunch ." Meanwhile the other 2 employees were spraying shoes and pacing back and forth aimlessly. I just sat and watched these 3 for 10 straight minutes to see if this wait was justified. I concluded it wasn't, bowled , and will only come back to the theatre. You guys suck

Some nice restaurants inside the hotel. Pool is nice too. A bit cumbersome getting from rooms to horses though. And the horse trailer parking is pretty far out there. Staff rushes you to unload horse trailer, so not an altogether pleasant welcome. My stall on the end was close to arena, but not well lit. Liked the footing in main arena, but the setup for the dressage courts was a bit awkward.

Never stayed there but we always take the kids there to go bowling. They have great prices on movie tickets also. It is a little far away from the strip, but we always make the drive to take the kids bowling. I would stay there if it wasn't so far away from the strip. They always have plenty of parking and can accommodate any size vehicle even when they are busy. Easy access from the freeway and easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

There are many things to do at south point, there is something for everyone. Upstairs there are many kid friendly attractions such as bowling an arcade and a movie theater. Bowling can get crowded but was a lot of fun. The arcade was nice; somewhat small and a bit expensive. Downstairs you have all the basic gambling: roulette tables, poker, blackjack, countless slots ect. The drinks were good but slow coming. We had breakfast there that was very crowded and slow but good. There are many other options for food. It's nice because it's off the strip and away from some of the craziness.

Service was very good, lots to do and keep you entertained. Food was great, a lot to chose from. Casino was always busy. The only downside was the bed was terrible. We have been there several times before and always lived it. I think it is just time to get new beds.

Very nice suite with plenty of room for a large group of bridesmaids and a bride to dress and primp. Great casino and sports book. Bowling alley, movie theater, pool spa, equestrian center. Many tasty restaurants, both casual and fine dining, even a hot dog cart on the casino floor! You could come to Vegas, stay here and never leave!

This is a great hotel for what it is. Don't come to Vegas and stay here because it's a cheaper option than the strip unless you have a car and are planning on it. Pretty much everything is available on site. There is a bowling alley, a spa and a barber shop, plenty of gambling, lots of equestrian goods and events, and tons of food options. This is not close to the strip but it doesn't claim to be. The rooms are nicely appointed, fairly comfortable, and the bathrooms are great. More on that, the shower pressure is fantastic and one of the best I've had in Vegas. Would recommend if you were coming here for events, wanted a more local experience with less expensive table minimums, or were planning on driving.

Huge place, so big it has its own bowing alley, movie theater, stables and horse track. While its on Las Vegas Blvd its on the far south side, far enough that it is not considered to be part of the strip It is more of a locals place to gamble/cheap place for tourists to stay. Their cafe has cheap food from midnight to 6am everyday, food is good, but due to high volume the service sucks. There is a steak n shake inside, good grub for a decent price, and there is a Century theater in it, while not outstanding, its clean and shows good films. Overall a decent place

South Point is a beautiful casino with high ceilings and light colors. They feature many equestrian events during the year. The slots pay you enough to let you keep playing and still leave with extra money. I'm not big on buffets, but they were advertising prime rib, which is husband's favorite. I wondered what a $15.99 prime rib would taste like. He said it was every bit as good as the $40.00 prime rib he had ordered a few nights prior. They have a stir fry station which I chose; it was excellent.

South Point is a great locals casino. The only part I really hate is the smoking. You walk in and it just over takes you. One who does not smile should not be put through that danger. It's god awful. Other than that it's a pretty great place. We ate dinner at Steak n Shake and then watched a movie.

Their Garden buffet is my favorite buffet in town. I love the variety and it's not crazy expensive. My family and I go there quite a lot, and my kids under 4 eat free which is a major bonus! The wine may include on certain nights is wonderful, I really enjoy it. I go here whenever my family's in town and they want to go out to eat - I highly recommend it!

This was my second time staying at the South Point and I would highly recommend it to anyone! There is all the fun of being on the strip without having to step foot outside the resort. The food options are awesome, the movie theater and bowling alley will keep you entertained while you're not in the casino, the pool and spa are beautiful, and the rooms are roomy and comfortable.

Great facilities. Good restaurants. Excellent , friendly staff. Clean! We stay here often. Don't even have to leave the hotel. Southpoint has everything you need for a great time.

Great hotel and casino. Staff and dealers were friendly, talkative and helpful. Extremely clean and large rooms. Only been to a few restaurants, but service is very prompt. Kid friendly attractiina including, bowling, arcade and movie theater. Great value at a great price.
