Great Camp and Kyle is the best counselor. The camp is beautiful and I would recomend going there. Fishing is great also.

The best mountain bike course in Michigan in my mind some hill but not to many hills. It's not extremely technical but enough to have fun.

The grounds are gorgeous. The leaders running class are great. Director of camp is clueless. Chef should be fired. Of 15 meals delivered to camp 14 were wrong or not edible. Had many meals delivered and not enough food for all campers. FIRST DAY they ran out of eggs and delivered meal over an hour late !! Scouts had to go to class with no meal. Getting around camp is a joke. Bus takes 45 minutes in some cases to get from one class to next. Bus driver must have come from the Indy 500, drives like it. 10 miles an hour on site property ? Not a chance for her, more like 25. The one thing they are good at is excuses. They sure give a lot of those . They do not know how to communicate with each other. List to long. Think hard before spending a week here until they change the head leader, director and chef.

I honestly wish I could convey the feelings I have for OSR, in 2014 I was a wolverine camper with my venture crew, in 2015 I was a reneker CIT, and then this year, 2016, I was a wolverine shooting sports instructor. I am proud to call this place a home to both myself and any other staff member who has ever worked here. It's not just the summer programs, but the land and the people who make it, the history is captivating and the warmth is welcoming and being a part of this has helped me in many ways, I can guarantee you will love it here as much as I do :)

Summer Camp at Owasippe is fun! They are adding new tents and the old tents are in great condition. I earn a lot of merit badges in Owasippe and it's a great experience. I have dietary restrictions (for a rare and awkward reason) and they gave me stuff I did eat. They are even planting trees to make up for cutting down the trees to make the camp. The only problem is that they have a lot of bugs there.
