Went to a wedding here. The facility was much, clean and had a classic feel. I would absolutely recommend this place for any function. The staff was nice, the music was great (although I think it might have been a DJ not employed by the hotel.) the building has that 100+year old fee but it’s been kept up very well. This review is of the function center only I did not get to stat here for the event.

Price was reasonable. Rooms were clean and very spacious. If you are not planning on spending much time in your room, it is fine. Tv's are outdated. Coffee bar could be improved upon, greatly. No hot water for tea, no tea choices, or hot cocoa choices. Fresh fruit was nice.

I didn't go to the hotel, but we did go to tiki. It was college night that night, but some of the crowd seemed pretty old considering. The drinks were good, but that place isn't really my scene. I went there the night before my best friend's wedding.

We just had our wedding reception at Stearns Hotel and everything was fantastic! A number of our guests stayed at the hotel as well and loved it. The ballroom is amazing even without our decorations. Customer service was always top notch, we always felt like they were there to help us/work with us. Gail, the wedding coordinator, was so great and helped make our reception everything we could've asked for and more! The building is vintage in a sense, but everything about it is so cool. We heard from numerous guests/family members that they loved the building and how everything looked. Everyone who worked with us for our event from Stearns was outstanding, we have nothing negative to say about our experience, and we'd highly recommend Stearns Hotel!

This is a really cool old building that's over 100 years old. If you stay here, make sure to check out the pictures on the walls. The rooms are very nice. We stayed in a Jacuzzi suite- modest size room but we didn't mind that at all. It was very clean and well kept up. The AC was a little on the noisy side, for me that's not an issue. Everything was very clean. I always check over the bed when I arrive at hotels- no issues here. There's a little bar connected to the hotel, we played pool and had a drink. Overall it was a nice place with friendly staff. Coffee and donuts was a plus :)
Exercise room, tanning and hot tub until 9pm- we arrived late so didn't get to use these amenities.

We went to this venue for a wedding reception. Wow what a classic feel to the whole place! It was like being transported back in time. Very elegant atmosphere in the reception hall. All the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend looking into having a reception or party here if you need a venue in Ludington.

It's an old hotel. They've tried fixing it up, but for what they charge, you can get a nicer room at a newer hotel that serves continental breakfast, has a pool, closer to the beach. Ect. It's got a musty smell that just doesn't leave, no matter what they do.

Hotel staff was friendly. Clean hotel and well cared for in its old age. Charm makes up for lack of modern amenities. Overall a comfortable hotel. Would stay again.
