Quaint little hotel. The Manager was very friendly, and full of suggestions for local restaurants. From the outside, it’s a very cute property. Rooms are outdated, and the beds are uncomfortably old and firm. The hotel has its own little section of the beach off the lake-great view! It looks like the pool is under renovation and they have a play area for the kids. Overall good for a one night stay while passing through Mears, Michigan.

Close to dunes, they have 2 bedroom apartments, only issue is they charge per person and they are watching, went from $590 to 670 for 1 extra person, I made reservations for 5 ended up with 6 and we went to pay he said my reservation was for 4 (I made it for5) so when we checked in he was watching and charged us $80 more. no power to plug trailers in. But still a good place to stay if you need separate rooms.

Rented a 3 bedroom cabin for a weekend. The location is great and is very close to a park and a few beaches. Within walking distance of a few restaurants, a gift shop, ice cream, coffee, very close drive to the sand dunes. The cabin was pretty clean, however, it's definitely very outdated. There was a kitchen (with cups and dishes) and 3 small bedrooms with basic beds. I would recommend bringing your own sheets and pillows but the mattresses were very comfortable. The bathroom was "ok" and that's being generous. Other than that, pretty decent place to stay if you're just sleeping there and plan to be out most of the time. Side note - space for cozy bon fires near the cabins.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Met our needs. It's right of the main drag so very easy to walk to almost everything! Not a fancier new place so don't expect that but all you do is sleep here and maybe hang for a few then off to the many activities that are possible. Will be back.

It's quaint, quiet, relaxing. Nice views. If you are claustrophobic DON'T get the motel room. Get something bigger. In the motel room you step out one side of the bed, you are right on the wall. Step out of the other side of the bed, you are on the other wall. It was OK for us, but don't even think of adding more than a second person. Get a bigger unit. Couple of small issues like the bathroom sink probably has clumps of hair in it, as it slow drained. And the TV was jacked as it had colored lines running vertical on the screen. If we come again, it will be for a cabin unit.

This hotel is booked entirely for the Fourth of July holiday weekend, and I am giving them a two week cancellation notice for a weekend we reserved and cannot attend, ample time for them to fill a room, yet they charge me $50 to cancel . The reservationist even stated that they would fill the room. I would understand if it were within a couple of days of canceling my dates, but this is consumer gouging.

Beware when booking with this hotel! They will gouge you too! I run several businesses and I would think charging somebody $50 to cancel wouldnt be worth the money for the negative juju with the customer. Bad business right here.

Small room, but great location. We weren't there to spend time in the room, but the mini fridge they provided was great, we were within walking distance of every attraction around. They cleaned up the room while we were away but respected our privacy. The room included an up to date TV and the staff was some of the nicest I've dealt with. The resort own's a small area on the beach that's nice, would totally recommend it to friends.

Very pleasant place to stay. Not fancy, rather very clean and comfortable. I felt at home here -- everyone was so friendly and personable. Our room faced the roundabout in front, so the balcony outside our room was excellent for people-watching. Inside the room, the noise was minimal from outside. The staff were cheerful, helpful, and pleasant.

The room was pleasantly decorated. Comfortable blankets, pillows, and beds. There was enough empty space in the room to move around. The air conditioner worked very well -- that's something that I don't know if they use much in Michigan, but we enjoyed having it.

The entire resort is awesome, a beach area, pool, and a variety of cabins and rooms to stay in. It's in the heart of the Silver Lake area, so you can walk to most anything. There's a quick market across the street for beer, groceries, etc., four restaurants within 50 feet, and two go-kart tracks within 50 feet. Great fun.

Great location. Within walking distance of a few restaurants as well as go karts, putt putt, and bumper boats. Beach within walking distance. Rooms appeared to be recently updated and very clean. Views from upstairs poolside room were amazing. Was able to see the dunes and silver lake. Would love to stay again
