Wonderful family beach, campground and playground on Lake Michigan. Fantastic sunsets. Fills up fast. Call one minute after midnight to assure your summer camping reservations. No reservation necessary for daily use of beach and playground with large parking area, beach house and beach store with food and ice creamsome camping supplies.

Campsites are practically on the beach. Bathrooms are fabulously clean. Wifi works on the park and great cell service too. Sites might be a bit small for big campers, but the proximity to the lake and dunes make it worth a visit.

Every time we are in the area we go to the public beach. It is spacious and always kept tidy. It even has an area where pets can swim. We love going there to watch sunsets.

Pretty dang crowded but despite that still fun. Right on Lake Michigan. There is Old Baldy sand dune in the park you can walk to the top of and run down. It is within walking distance of downtown. Only thing that may not be great for some is the quiet time rule at 10pm. So not the best place if you wanna get rowdy. But very cool spot

Great beach with a nice play structure for the kids. Walking distance from downtown Pentwater. Can't go wrong here!

Great beach facilities with restrooms and a playground. Events throughout the summer including a sand castle competition and volleyball. It can get busy so it pays to get there early to get a parking spot and place on the beach. They don't allow "reserving" places by setting out stuff so make sure you have someone there or they will pack up your stuff!

Great public beach! Parking with easy access to the beach. Clean public restrooms and showers. Playground for the kids. Snack bar has decent selection, novelty store with beach towels toys etc. Entrance $9 a day or $35 for the year for any state public park.

Great beach. Sometimes gets crowded but never so much that you cannot find a good spot.
