  Every time I get back home to Ludington I stop by the Chuck Wagon for their unique pizza. This is a hometown treasure, a landmark, a truly authentic restaurant owned and operated by a great family with great staff. Everybody I know has at least one fun Chuck Wagon story. During the summer season this place is packed, all day every day. During the winter months, the locals keep the place busy. No matter what time of year you visit Chuck Wagon, though, you’re always going to be served an impossibly heavy pizza absolutely loaded with toppings. I’ve always loved this I place and I hope it stays open forever.

  Friends raved about this place, so we checked it out. To be fair, they were super busy when we were there, but disappointed with the quality. Burnt crust, poorly mixed sauce that tasted like plain tomato paste in spots, dry overcooked breadsticks, and a "family" size salad that was big enough for two people tops.

  The pizza here is incredible. 4 stars because I ordered a sub too and the bread was so soggy I couldn't eat it. I tried to eat it within 5 minutes of picking it up so it's not like I let it sit around. They need to find a way to package them so they don't get a lot of moisture trapped.

  YUM! Fulfilled the hungers of this family of 7 on our way home from Sleepy Bear Dunes. The owner brought out dough for the kids to mess around with. Be prepared---the dining room is tiny but we were lucky and got a table. Pizza was excellent!

  Awesome pizza. This place loads on the toppings and cheese. The ingredients were quality. I almost strained my arm carrying the pizza back to my hotel room. I am from the Chicagoland area. While this pizza is not like Chicago thin crust pizza, it was definitely very good pizza that I savored at the hotel room. I saved some for the next day. I highly recommend this pizza.

  The pizza was really good, however we had to wait a ridiculously long time for it. When we arrived they had several tables marked as reserved. When we told them we didn't have reservations they asked if we wanted to place our order while we waited. Being new to the place we unwisely said no. We were sat quickly, however it seemed everyone that arrived after us for their reservation had placed their order ahead of time. I guess lesson learned, but as good as the pizza was it was not worth the long wait.

  Best pizza ever. The cook missed my husband's pizza on the ticket so the made it cooked it and took it off the ticket. It was so delicious

  Great pizza. Tons of toppings. Even picking husband loved it. Just tegular pizzas but done right. Coworker saw my left over piece of pizza i brought for lunch and knew exactly where it was from, unmistakable by the amount of toppings.

  We decided to go out for some pizza on a rainy night while we were camping at Ludington State Park and it was a great decision. Pizza and drafts are excellent, service is attentitive and friendly. Definitely go here!
