Kudos for being family owned and locally sourced. I ate at the café today and it was good. Very healthy and seasoned well for overly healthy food preparation. I even think the salt shaker on the table had a salt substitute in it. Several people in our office eat there for lunch. I had the salmon and it was good and seasoned well even in the absence of butter. The meatball day is what I am looking forward to trying as they smell great. Only gave a four out of five due to higher price (food is sold by weight) than anticipated for the amount of food that I got.
I've been shopping at Organic Harvest for 3+ years nowand as time goes on the service gets worse and worse. The turn over rate has gone up tremendously since they opened up. The workers are never friendly..and honestly if they are slightly helpful it is clear that they have no desire to help. Every time I go in the cafe it's as if I'm not there. I've decided to stop shopping there from now on. I will do my shopping at Sprouts and farmer's markets because the service is really awful at Organic Harvest. Great productsterrible attitudes. It starts at the owner and makes it's way down. Everyone there seems miserable.
Got there 3 minutes before closing time and the employees was very generous and allowing us to shop and grab a couple of items not only that they was not rushing us out of the store
Store personnel are always helpful, knowledgeable and ready to assist. Guest speakers/seminars are an added plus.
Excellent and knowledgeable service. Food that is sure to be organic. An overall healthy experience!
Nobody gets a 5 star, but this wonderful family owned business is a pleasure to work with! They provide numerous alternatives to foods that my son cannot have with multiple food allergies.
The store has great food and products, but so does Sprouts and Whole Foods. Heres why I gave a low rating. The customer service in the store is the worst. I come here every so often, and the only people that ever express any greeting or overall good customer service are the ones that work the cafe area. In the store, the employees at the register look depressed and sad. They never say "hello" when you walk-in or "Have a good day" when you walk out. Ive even noticed how they only ask certain customers if they need assistance. The short brunette lady, who I assume is one of the managers, is always has a mean look on her face. This is the main reason why I still continue to go to stores like Sprouts and Whole Foods. Even the upper management personnel are like this at this store. Customer service and common courtesy always plays a huge role in any business, and this place doesn't have any of it.
Friendly, helpful staff, delicious prepared dishes, great selection of organic produce. On top a solid craft beer selection and lots of health supplements and even vegetarian "fish oil".
Why not 5 stars?
There are a few things that I really like but they run out of it on a regular basis. When I get to the register I always let the cashier know what I am missing and they never write it down and sure enough those items are not in store for months at a time. Strange.
