Food is top notch! I'd like to try everything on their menu. Sweet potato fries are addictive.

Quaint little bar and grill with FANTASTIC food. I got the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich with Bacon. My wife got Fish Tacos with Sweet Potato Chips. Cannot wait to return and sample other fare!

Great food and great place to sit outside and eat! Our burger was fantastic and they have the best fries! It was also really cool that our dog could come with us and sit outside! I would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Wonderful food and good service. Live music on Tuesday nights. Their parking lot is weird but don't let it deter you from visiting - the food is worth it!

Service is great!! I tried the Beale Street burger and it was awesome! The burger was cooked as I asked and juicy. The fries are absolutely fantastic!!

Very good food. We ordered fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and other items. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and great atmosphere, quick service.

I Love this place. I drive down once a year they have the BEST fried green tomatoes and the corona onion rings are to die for.

Finally got to Mudtown and it definitely did not disappoint. We had the fried green tomatoes, grilled fish tacos, and shrimp & grits and all were excellent.

The relaxed atmosphere makes Mudtown a great lunch spot or the perfect place to grab a bite to eat with friends. The menu is very diverse, giving you different choices of meat for various dishes.

On my first visit, I had the Soco Loco Burger with a side of grilled veggies. The bacon could have been a bit more crispy, but it was still delicious.

I will definitely be back. I may have to plan it for after work so I can enjoy a beer with my meal (which they have a great selection of)!

Beer selection was so-so today. Food was ok. Chicken tenders were under seasoned and burgers, sandwiches and fries we're way too salty.

If visiting Birmingham for a short time, don't miss this local "watering hole" with great burger (and more)!! Beware the parking situation isn't great--even if the parking lot looks packed, give it a chance. Service moves quickly and it's bigger inside than you'd think.

Mudtown has good food and a decent bar. Friendly staff that that is helpful with a recommendation and good service. They do a great take out service too.

Good for lunch. The Monte Cristo is amazing. Their hamburgers are pretty good, but a bit greasy.

Parking is just awful. There's not a ton of spaces, and they are on a terrible hill. I know they make fun of themselves, but that doesn't solve the problem.

After reaching out to Tiffany(the manager) and the Owner for over the past month, I finally found out that Mudtown will not be able to Cater or Even make take-out food for for my rehearsal dinner. I reached out to them a while ago and the response first was "that shouldn't be a problem, let me check the calendar and get back to you." After multiple calls back and messages for Tiffany with no response, I called today and she said they were too busy.

If Mudtown wants to be recognized as a legitimate establishment, they need to hire a manager that has the customer service they can stand behind and that shows professionalism.

    I wont be going back.
