On November 18 I had started my vacation at the orange city RV with my husband . We were hoping to be there till April 1 . Well that changed today ! We had to leave due to a management mess up. When they put us in the one spot we ask to be moved due to the neighbors screaming at their kids and the neighbors leaving their dogs in the camper for days as they were barking so loudly i couldn’t sleep . On November 30 they moved me to another spot which was quieter . The neighbor came to my camper and told me i had to move because his friend had reserved that spot . We went to the office and complain to heather which is assistant manager she told me that the guy that reserved the spot his camper didn’t fit and we could stay there till April 1st. Well today i get a knock at my door telling me i had to move my camper once again they told me i can go to a premium spot and pay extra , mind you me and my husband paid in full already so why would i have to pay extra if heather told me i didn’t have to move I would never refer anyone to this camper because as we were leaving they were making a joke about this . Very unprofessional !! Horrible customer service! Also we had won a first place for decorating our golf cart for Christmas which was for a parade last week and we still did not receive our first price winning ! This place is bogus

Wonderful team they have here in the welcome center (office). Outside grounds and maintenance are pleasant also.

The Orange City RV resort is very nice, we were parked in the back so we had a nice nearly private area. Dogs have their own little yard where we can take them and let them pee and stuff. All in all, very nice stay.

Second time staying. Only for one night each time, passing through. Sites are good enough for a night or two, but aren't level. They do have cement patios. Office was already closed both times we came, but they have a late check-in box labeled with our name, a map to the site, local info and directions to stores and restaurants and such, plus list of available cable channels. WIFI Keeps dropping out after connecting, so never got to use it.

Stayed here for a week 5/17 on my RV and had a wonderful experience. Very Clean and maintained. Would recommend highly. Although as I was leaving some creep crashed into my RV and fled the scene. Lol. Didn't take away from a good experience there.

Exceptional infrastructure, very nice staff and incredibly clean! About the only downside would be that you really need a car. There's almost nothing in walking distance.

My family and I went to check out this RV park for possible long-term living. Having a seven-year-old we did not believe this would be a good atmosphere for him. There's no playground for him and a majority of the people who live there live in mobile homes and not RVs. Don't get me wrong it's a nice place with a nice pool but not conducive to our lifestyle

Great place to park your Fifth Wheel or RV. People are quuet and nice for the most part. Cleanliness is important not only to the Lot Holders, but management as well. So in short, if you're a dirty butt consider other RV Campgrounds.

This is the only place to stay in this area!!! Husband and I travel from VT to TX, and have seen plenty RV parks, and this place is great! We stayed in a rental RV of theirs waiting on our 5th wheel to arrive from CT, and the staff has been a pleasure!! One hiccup in our stay, and they were on it, handled it promptly and with a smile and a great attitude! I drove around this area looking at other RV parks closer to hubby's job, and a couple of them, well, I wouldn't want my dog to stay there!
This park has anything and everything you need, and more, friendly staff and friendly neighbors! I've not seen the tons of cats I've heard mentioned in other reviews, but, every park I've stayed in, I've seen a cat or 2, any neighborhood you live in, you are probably gonna have an unwanted cat around at one time or another.
The negative things people have said about the staff, tells me, YOU are probably doing something you weren't supposed to be doing or you'd not have any trouble!! I've seen plenty children playing, and haven't witnessed any fights, arguments, any disruptions at all.
Like my mama taught me, you can't please everyone! You could break your neck to do everything for some, and they'd still find something to gripe about!! Just the way folks are nowadays! So, if you like to do the drugs, or if you and your husband like to fight, big, crazy dogs with no discipline, or if you have children that don't know how to behave in this kind of setting, then there's a couple RV places around here I've seen, you'll fit right in!
But, if you're a law-abiding, decent person, who cares about living in a nice, clean, friendly environment, then Orange City RV Resort is the place for you!

This place is absolutely horrible!! I stayed here from December until May. My kids were yelled at by residents for playing on an empty lot (which I told was okay by management) and then they were blamed for something that they didn't even do by management. It was proven it wasn't my children but I never even received so much as an apology from the company. I was singled out by employees and residents. They told me that I could not have outside storage, but yet others are allowed? I was also told that I have to have a canopy or I would have to leave, yet others are allowed to stay without one? My boyfriend was banned from the property without investigation because the people are friends with the management there. I was also told that they would have to charge me for my boyfriend and his two kids using the pool when they visited and we all went swimming. But they originally could not tell me exactly how much they would have to charge. After I called the company to complain I was targeted again.

All in all

There are cliques there in the community and if one of them doesn't like you they will make sure your stay there will be a living nightmare. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone who has active kids. Or anyone at all for that matter.
